This bright, cozy coach house is your ideal base in Oak Park. It was originally the coachman's quarters behind a 1909 Prairie-style house, now converted into modern guest lodging.

The coach house is above the garage at the end of a long driveway (free parking included!) on a quiet street, in the heart of the Frank Lloyd Wright district. It's a short walk from the FLW home and studio, Ernest Hemingway's birthplace, vibrant downtown Oak Park, and trains to downtown Chicago.

We had a fantastic time at the Sunny Coach House in Oak Park. The communication from our host was clear so we had no issues during our check-in or check-out. The apartment was very spacious and well equipped, which made our stay very comfortable. This apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood and very close to coffee shops and all kinds of stores. The hosts were very nice - allowed us to check in early. The place was clean and neat. The only issue was the lighting in the driveway. The lighting directly in front of the carriage house was fine, there was no lighting on the driveway leading up to the carriage house. We had evening events and ladies in heels need a well-lit path.
