Swim meet home base

Easy access to pan am pool. Easily enough room for 6 if needed. We arrived to one bedroom locked from the inside but quickly resolved the problem the next day.

Great family place

House was the perfect size for my family and checked off all our needs. A locked box was used to gain access to the residence and we had no issues with it. Upon arrival, we noticed the place wasn't cleaned from the previous renters. I contacted the owner who was very accommodating and got back to me quickly. There was a glitch in the vrbo system which didn’t notify the cleaners to attend. The owner was very apologetic. I recommended to the owner to have the place deep cleaned as there was quite a bit of dust on the baseboards and under the beds/furniture. All in all, the place had everything we needed and would stay here again.

Plus’s and minuses

I have some mixed emotions on this property and our stay. On the one hand the neighborhood was very nice and we felt very safe there, the home was a nice new build and was very comfortable for the duration of our stay. On the other hand there were a few letdowns. The main reason we rented this property was the posting showed by our opinion to have a garage to park our car in on arrival we found that this was not the case and only had a parking space in the alley and parking on the street. We had issues with some of the lighting including the main fixture in the master bath burned out on us and we had to use one of the lamps from the bedroom to light the room. We attempted to remedy this with the property manager but to no avail. The hot water tank seemed small as well and would only allow for one bath to be run in the evening even tho there were two tubs in the house. The place was reasonably clean with the exception of under the beds furniture and on top of the fridge. All in all I would rank our stay as a 7/10
