Located just 700m from the sandy beach of Kastell Ac'h in the center of the small town of Lilia near Plouguerneau. Newly renovated with a small front garden, an ideal base for 2 people to explore North Finistère. The well-known coastline, also known as the Côtes des Légendes (Coast of Legends), becomes an imposing backdrop, especially at low tide, when gigantic rock formations tower over the beautiful, fine sandy beaches and sheltered bays. The hikes lead from island to island at low tide. The island of Ile Vierge and the lighthouse can only be visited twice a year with a guide at low tide. Regular boat crossings operate from Aber Wrac'h Harbour. In midsummer also from the Pointe de Kastell Ac'h. The municipality of Plouguerneau has 18 km of coastal hiking trails that lead past fine sandy beaches, rugged rock formations and picturesque small bays as well as a wide range of water sports. Even the little ones can take part in the local sailing school. In summer there are many festivals and exhibitions in the vicinity, e.g. B. the Algae Festival in August. A major attraction is the lighthouse on the Ile Vierge of the same name. The lighthouse is a symbol of the Pays des Abers and, at almost 83 m, is the tallest stone lighthouse in Europe.
