About this property

This welcoming, open floor plan home, with its own pool is perfect for hosting family reunions, holidays and group getaways with 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms and accommodates up to 16 guests .
Rent the neighboring house to sleep a total of 22!
Please note: price per night varies depending on time of year.

In-ground swimming pool is all yours, with lounge chairs, tables, chairs, & umbrellas - perfect to take in the views. Walk to the lake for fishing and watching the sunset. You can walk along the bluff to Soldier's Bluff Park and get in the water, there is also a boat ramp and swimming area around the corner at Lofer’s Bend Park. Walling Bend Park is about a 7 minute drive and has a nice beach and picnic area.

The home has 2 areas that have step downs, kitchen and sunroom.

Although we make every effort to clear bugs, spider webs, etc., the home is in a rural, lake setting so you will likely see more insects while you are visiting. Please keep this in mind when booking.

Golfing Gal Pal Weekend!

Fun spot for our family gathering

We were brainstorming an end of summer get-together for our extended family and I'm so glad we found this place! It worked out perfectly for us. The kids' ages ranged from 4 to 13. There was enough room for all to spread out. The little ones enjoying the novelty of eating and playing games on the balcony and the teens found enough quiet corners throughout the house to have some downtime. All ages enjoyed the pool of course! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for a crowd. Having the extra fridge helped a bunch. We're hoping to make it an annual tradition!

Rob and I relocated to Texas from Colorado in 2016 in search of a new adventure. We fell in love with Texas' lakes and warm weather and took a leap to purchase 2 lake homes at Lake Whitney State Park to use at short term rentals. After a few months of owning the homes we decided to move close and are now calling Lake Whitney home.

With our love of hospitality and attention to detail we have quickly gained a reputation for providing top notch experiences for our guests. We take pride in offering clean, comfortable, and memorable stays.

When we are not busy with the rentals, we love spending time out on the lake, trying new restaurants, and exploring all that Texas has to offer.
