This stay was great! We had such a fun time and really used the cabin to its full potential. Would definitely stay here again or recommend it to friends and family.
Our stay was awesome. Our whole family had a blast. There was enough room for everyone and the hosts responded quickly to an issue with the furnace leaking.
This was a great cabin for a weekend getaway. There was enough space for our entire party. The firepit and hot tubs were great for a chilly weekend. Super clean and spacious!
The cabin was great and we had a great stay! The managers (not owners, they were very clear) were passive aggressive and rude during communication. However, was easy to get in and out and forget about that in the woods. We had a relaxing time!
Lovely getaway close to all major hiking locations
This property was gorgeous and parking was fantastic with all the cars we had. We all slept comfortably and never had an issue with anything. The hot tubs were perfection especially after a day of hiking when our bodies were sore. The fire pit is perfectly placed and all other amenities were fantastic. The only issue i had and it was probably due to bandwith was the internet dropping connection randomly. Everything else was pristine.
The property was as listed in a great location for all of our hiking activity. The cabin is in a beautiful spot with ample space for sleeping. Loved the fire pit and hot tubs. Plenty of space in the pool room for possibly some other activities. Bottom bath tub drains very slowly. These were minor complaints, that’s why I still give the property 5 stars. Would recommend for large family or group gatherings.👍
We were extremely excited to be together as a family. From 85 yrs old to 1 yrs. old. 4 out of 16 were able to come to the cabin due to covid. We ask to please reschedule and were denied. This was very difficult and such a disappointment. Bathrooms needed attention . no internet service and could not watch tv. No cable available. The cabin was clean .

Due to the covid pandemic, Travelers Insurance was offered, through the VRBO reservations system, at the time of booking.
Most guests don't want to pay for that, and just take their chances, but if insurance is not purchased, we go by our normal reservation policy, which is the only way to fairly represent the lodge owners, for whom we manage.
Nobody mentioned the bathrooms, during this guest's stay, or the internet, as far as we know. We can't address issues that we don't know about. Maple Ridge has WiFi internet, so, without being notified of it, we would have been unable to check with the phone company to see if there were issues.
We don't advertise TV service there. We point out on the description of amenities that it is not available at this lodge.
We are sorry that the stay didn't go as planned, but insurance wasn't purchased, as far as we know, and the issues were not reported until after the stay was over. If we know about things, we try to take care of them in a timely manner.
The stay at the cabin was not very pleasant. The house needs new appliances such as tv, microwave, sofas, beds. The Tv was not working at all. Microwave had a-broken handle. The sofa recliners very dirty and not closing and beds on first floor were very squeaky. The house had no condiments in the kitchen and limited paper towel which I had to purchase more. The outside bonfire chairs were not comfortable at all and no extra material provided for bonfire. I was not happy with the place and would not recommend it to anyone. My stay was not comfortable and not kid friendly since there were no extra fun things to do in the house besides pool table.
We had scheduled a lot of our friends to get together; but only 11 could make it that weekend. We had a great time! We didn't use the hot tubs, but they were ready and waiting us if we wanted too. There were garbage bags and essentials to maintain the space and instruction booklet in our cabin. Our only complaint was that there was no WIFI or the TVs wouldn't work well. We got one of the TVs to work with our portable hotspot enough to watch the big game though, so we made it through that hurdle. The TV issue was not the fault of the property though, but our lack of planning. This was a wonderful spot. Recommended.
This is a great place to stay. We had the hole family here for a week. We would go back. There were a couple of issues but nothing that we were to worried about. It is very quite so great for rest and relaxation!
Had some maintenance issues. Couldn't get a hold of maintenance.
Had problems with freezer not working. Couldn't get a hold maintenance. We tried before specified times as well as many other times. Finally called the next day. By that time everything was defrosted and they still couldn't fix. It started working but still leaked on floor. Very nice owner. We have rented from him many times. Just experience this time.
Very secluded in a wooded setting. Kitchen was was adequately supplied with everything required to cook. Bath towels and linens were clean. The house was very clean and inviting. Our family loved it.

Clean
Furniture in pool room and main 1st fl room was very worn. Kitchen table in bad shape too. Bedroom furniture was nice but no blankets. Seemed very clean. Beautiful home. Kids had fun in hot tubs and at fire ring.

Property was clean, and location was peaceful. Fire ring was very enjoyable to set around. Hot tubs were clean and host provided sanitizers for tubs. Listing stated there was a coin laundry, there was not. There was only 10 forks and several had prongs too bent to eat with. The items to cook with left a lot be be desired, nothing to flip a pancake with ( flipper was broke, had to use grill spatula) and no measuring spoons.
The property is beautiful. Really spacious cabin for a large family. Unfortunately the cleanliness was not up to par. The deck was dirty w/ food on the furniture. The covers on the Jacuzzi were filthy and 1 was coming apart. When you went to move the cover some of the dirt went in the jacuzzi and there was nothing to use to clean out dubree and dirt.
Upon arrival I didn't have the code to get in the cabin but the door was unlocked luckily because the phone # that I was given to contact no 1 answered any time I had any questions. I called the # several times with no response. I did send messages and sometimes I got a response. Ive used Vrbo several times and will again. All the other properties I have ever stayed at, getting in touch with owners wasn't as challenging.
The kitchen wasn't properly stocked for cooking. We were there 4 days and they only had 3 small aluminum cans for all the trash we accumulated while there. The cans weren't secure enough from animals to not get into considering we were in the middle of the woods. I contacted the office during the hours listed in the cabins notebook and the office wasn't open.
The furniture was really worn out on the lower level and dirty.
For such an amazing cabin very disappointed that it fell short of what we expected.
This cabin is the perfect place to get away with family, or even those girls trips that all of us gals need from time to time😉and make some precious memories. A short ride to all of the surrounding trails, Old Man's Cave, Ash Cave, Cedar Falls, just to name a few. Nestled in the woods, you'll be able to escape the everyday craziness, sit back and enjoy yourself in peacefulness and nature.
We had a great time. The kids loved the cabin. Would love to come back.
