Hippach is a small community in the rear of the Zillertal and, together with Mayrhofen, is a popular travel destination in both summer and winter. The community extends from 600 m above sea level. to a remarkable height of 2,762 m above sea level. and is not far from the Horbergbahn, which takes you to the hiking area of Mayrhofen. The high mountain nature park Zillertaler Alpen, an oasis of tranquility on the Zillertaler main ridge (1,000-3,509 m), which covers 372 square kilometers, is full of impressions: with about 80 glaciers, three large reservoirs and several mountain and boiler lakes, the landscape extends over all layers of the inner Alps.
