This main area also features an 18 foot vaulted ceiling, along with custom carved doors and window frames. Unique Indonesian paintings, bronze and wood statues compliment this soulful environment. Wi-Fi and cable television are included.
All appliances, cookware, electronics, and furniture are new, and amenities such as soap, shampoo, toiletries, towels, coffee, tea, creamer, sugar, spices, cooking oil, filtered water are included.
The adjacent Bali porch and exterior wall is also constructed of marble and contains intricately wood carved and highlighted doors, windows, furniture and columns.
The outside living area contains a covered barbecue space, and a 425 square foot indoor dining experience named the Bali Room. It includes a sound system, fireplace, and a traditional, full-size Indonesian bed that is available for resting. A professional Ping Pong Table is also available setup. This space is a perfect place to meditate, perform yoga, and relax with family.
There are also three additional outdoor lounge areas, including a vine covered gazebo with clay fireplace (chiminea), an umbrella covered table and two chairs in front of the Bali House, as well as an umbrella covered patio table and chairs accommodating six people.
On the west side of the Bali House is a large open space equipped to host special events (i.e. weddings, christenings, etc.). There is more than enough space within the property to lounge and congregate freely, not to mention to photograph and film a variety of imaginative productions.
At night, the entire compound comes to life due to a thoughtful and strategic lighting design. It is a perfect space for entertaining or experiencing quiet moments under the canopy of a desert sky.

These are by far the most amazing hosts we have experienced in all of our travels. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. All of the creature comforts provided made it way to show up and start enjoying Tucson. It was also in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood with quick access to campus and the city. Highly recommend this location!
Exquisitely built and decorated the Bali House was an inviting place to stay and relax for a full week in Tucson. The bed was very comfortable, the outside space very inviting and private and the amenities more than adequate. Centrally located with access to the two Saguaro National Park sites surrounding Tucson, it offered very good access to hiking (the Tanque Verde trail on the Rincon side is exceptional), a number of city attractions such as the Mini Time Machine museum, the Botanic Gardens and numerous fabulous restaurants. We had a wonderful experience in the Sun in Tucson and were able to relax at the Bali House at the end of the day.
We arrived late. A family member greeted us and showed us in. Very kind! Beds were comfortable. Hosts were responsive. Property was as-advertized. We enjoyed sitting on the covered patio.
Very cool home and looks exactly as depicted! Very comfortable and equipped with anything you might need! The hosts are so nice, helpful and quick to respond. We were moving our daughter into U of A and it was an easy drive over to the University. Nice neighborhood too!
We had a great relaxing stay at this unique property. The love that Dennis and Juana have poured into this unique property (little piece of Bali in Tucson) is very evident. Communication with the hosts was seamless.
Authentic and surprising touches from Bali.
Well equipped with every need, clean and comfortable. The hosts are delightful people which added to the enjoyment of being there the first week in April with perfect temperatures.
Filled with Indonesian art and artifacts, the house if fully equipped for a comfortable, relaxing stay. The outdoor spaces are as gorgeous as the house and are perfect for relaxing. Highly recommended!
Wonderful stay. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom. Super responsive host and very welcoming. Provided great recs for restaurants. So much lovely outdoor space as well as beautiful collection of art and furniture. Misha is a very friendly cat.
We loved our stay at The Bali House. It was a vacation within a vacation. The house is exactly as described - absolutely the most unique accommodations we've ever experienced within the Continental USA. Highly recommeded! We don't visit Tucson often, but would want to stay again when we return.
Short of going to the island of Bali, this was the next best thing! Beautifully furnished and decorated, with a large private garden to hang out in any time of day, our stay at the Bali House literally made us feel transported. We will be sure to book again when we return to Tucson in the future!
We had a really wonderful time during the monsoon, dropping off our son for his freshman year at UofA. The place is exactly as promised, with a lot of outdoor space and very helpful and responsive hosts. The table tennis was a special highlight, as were the afternoons and evenings in the outdoor space feeling the thunderstorms but not getting soaked
The Bali House is a very unique property in a quiet neighborhood. The rental was filled with beautiful artwork and intricate wood carvings, as well as lovely furniture and a very peaceful outdoor seating area. The master bedroom bed was really comfortable. The mid-Tucson location (Arroyo Chico area) was perfect for us, since we were visiting friends and family on both the northern and southern limits of the city. It is also a very easy (15-25 minute) walk to Reid Park and the El Con Mall. The kitchen and bedroom are fully stocked with everything you need and the check-in/out was easy.
The Bali House is in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Stepping out into the courtyard in the morning I could hear the birds chirping. My wife and I stayed here 7 nights. The unit is spacious so we never felt cramped even though we both were doing exercises in the morning. There is a walk-in closet so you can put your luggage and other paraphernalia out of sight. The kitchen is well equipped with all the appliances and utensils you might need for serious cooking and there is a large countertop. Over the years we have stayed at four different VRBOs in Tucson and this is easily the best of them.
