About the host
Hosted by Laura Allen
We purchased this cottage a few years ago for our family to re energize from our busy lives on the mainland. We found this way of life so relaxing and many friends were always wanting to come for the weekends so we thought; why not share our beautiful spot with others.
Why they chose this property
The cottage faces west with a full view of sunsets over the sound. We sit above the lagoon where boats go in and out the jetty. It is not unusual to sit out on the deck and watch the deer grazing and wandering with their babies.
What makes this property unique
Our small community is quite unique with lots of water craft coming and going. The roads throughout are great for walking or biking. Just a mile away is a state park with beautiful forest, huge old trees and plenty of wildlife.
