Spacious log cabin overlooking our little town

Enjoy the feeling of being "King of the Mountain" while staying on five private acres overlooking town. This spacious log home is situated on top of a Cambria County hill that affords gorgeous views of the landscape in any season. Guests can start their day with the vibrant color of a morning sunrise from the spacious deck and finish the evening with friends around the large fire ring. This cedar home has enough room to accommodate family and friends inside and out with four bedrooms and plenty of space to play. The master bedroom and loft den afford guests options to work out, read, play a game, or just enjoy the feeling of possibility that comes from open space.
This home is situated to offer the perfect balance of privacy and connection. Guests can relish the peaceful serenity on the hill while being a short drive from restaurants and activity. Outdoor enthusiasts are only miles away from Rock Run ATV Park and Prince Gallitzin State Park. There is plenty of room for parking ATV trailers and for storing hiking/biking/skiing gear! All new mini splits for air conditioning.

This house is absolutely breathtaking, I don’t want to leave! The beds were comfortable, the couch was amazingly comfortable, and the house was cozy and clean. We looked forward to coming back to it every day. We rented it for our ATV trip to Rock Run and it was the perfect home base. The little diner in town has great breakfast too! Kara was a very attentive host and was very responsive with messages. 10/10 stay and we will definitely book again for our next trip to Rock Run.

The house was perfect for our large group. It was very clean and had all the extras! Kara was accommodating and easy to work with. We enjoyed the private setting that the property is on. We will definitely be back!

Family reunion in Hastings

Two of my siblings and their families stayed at the cabin for a family reunion weekend. Because our mother recently passed we now need a house to stay in the Hastings area. The cabin is perfect, large, well appointed and very peaceful location. Looking forward to renting again.

An Unforgettable Stay-Highly Recommend!

Kara always goes above and beyond to make our stay nothing short of perfect. I have booked this location for the past 3 years for Christmas. The location is ideal-close to my family and quiet enough for a peaceful holiday. I especially love watching the wildlife during the our stay. Thank you Kara for always being a 5 star host!!

This property is absolutely perfect!! Perfect place to relax and unwind. So spacious, clean well equipped. Kara was responsive and generous with yummy cookies when we arrived. I highly recommend staying here and we will definitely stay again!

If 10 stars was an option I would give it. Went here with some friends and family just to get away and the place was extremely beautiful from the inside of the house to the outside view of the mountains. Clean and well put together. Also the hosts were extremely hospitable and kind! Would recommend this place for a vacation getaway or any type of getaway to anyone! Exceeded expectations

The house was clean and communicating with the host was very easy. Lots of parking. We came in for a wedding and all guests were family of groom. It was a challenge that all shoes had to be removed at the door, yet nowhere to sit to put shoes on or off. Very difficult for women in wedding gowns. For such a nice place the sheets on the beds were awful. They were what seemed from the 1950s. Every time you moved they came off the mattress and made of the thinnest material. Maybe for a place for 200 a night that would be acceptable but not for the price paid. Finally outside had a terrible tar smell. We assumed it was pine being burned in the wood-burner next to the house.

Perfect Base-camp for Our ATV Adventure!

We booked our Vrbo rental for a long weekend ATV trip with friends, and it couldn't have been more perfect! The cabin was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed — plenty of room for all of us to relax after long days on the trails. The property was not only beautiful but also incredibly convenient, with trail access just minutes away.The host was fantastic — super responsive, helpful and wanted to make sure our stay was perfect, thank you. The large parking area easily fit our trucks and trailers, which was a huge bonus.After riding, we loved hanging out cooking meals on the blackstone, and enjoying the peace and quiet of the area. This Vrbo rental made our ATV trip comfortable, fun, and totally hassle-free. Highly recommend to anyone planning an off-road getaway with friends!
