Cozy 1 Bedroom Unit Steps Away from Long Sands Beach

One bedroom unit within beautiful Victorian home, located on the most pristine part of Long Sands Beach in York, Maine - Only a few steps from the water (no ocean view, but rather that of a quiet, lovely, grassy area). Fully furnished. Modern kitchen, full bath, living room, dining area, patio and nice yard.

Linens not included (available upon request).
Maximum occupancy 2 adults.
Summer rentals: 7 night minimum from Saturday to Saturday.

No pets
No smoking in apartment or on property
Security deposit required

Unit is located on the first level of home - Entrance to unit is accessed from the back of house. **Please be advised that our family lives upstairs during the summer. As this is an older home, some sound from upstairs can be heard below. During the week it is extremely quiet upstairs, but on weekends there’s a bit more activity. We do our best to minimize the disruptions.

Julie was a wonderful host, and the place was perfect, right across the street from the beach, close to everything, and we could walk everywhere. The apartment was spotless, very comfortable, and had everything you need. My husband and I had a wonderful week and would highly recommend it,

Great location - very clean - kind host. Would be nice if linens and towels were in included with rental. Advertised you could request, but should automatically be included. Nevertheless, would still rent here again. It was GREAT!

We really enjoyed our stay, especially the fantastic location—it was hard to beat and made the trip very convenient. The place was clean and comfortable overall. There were a couple of small things that could use some attention, like the bed being a little less comfortable than we hoped and the AC having a slight odor. Nothing that took away from the experience, though. Given the location, we’d happily stay here again.

Wonderful beach side getaway

Great place to stay at York Beach

The rental was perfect for me as it was conveniently located next to the beach and near a good restaurant and also a grocery. The bed was comfortable, the rooms seem recently remodeled, it had every amenity that I had need of. It’s a great choice for a couples getaway, or in my case, a personal retreat.

A Week in Paradise!

Our host was friendly but respected our privacy. The cottage was immaculate and cozy. The location was close enough to the beach as well as local restaurants. We enjoyed our stay immensely and hated to leave!

Perfect location

We really enjoyed our week here! Just steps to the beach and also an easy drive to Portland and Massachusetts. I had some questions before we went and Julie was super prompt and friendly in responding through the VRBO messaging system. Looking forward to coming back one day!

Perfect location

We stayed on Long Sands Beach for a week but I wish it had been longer. I started every morning having my coffee while I walked the beach. There were some nice restaurants close by. In addition, we walked to Fox's near the lighthouse for great lobster. And another night, we walked to Short Sands for ice cream. It is the best of both worlds-- a large quiet family friendly beach with busier places within a mile or so walk.
