60 km north-west of Rovaniemi, lake Palolompolo 30 m (length 2 km, width 1 km), shallow water, hard moraine bottom, own boat. Log cabin 1978, renovated 1990. Kitchenette, living room, alcove 2 beds, sleeping loft (steep stairs) 4 matresses, open veranda. Lakeside sauna (8 m2), dressing room, electric light. Satellite-tv. Baby cot and children's chair. There are for example perch, pike and white fish in the Palolompolojärvi-lake.

It was a real pleasure spending our time in this beautiful cottage. That house and adjacent buildings include everything ever needed during a holiday and more, the beautiful landscape and silence are a guarantee for a relaxing holiday. The owner is extremely friendly, helpful and English speaking. The lake comprises lots of fish to be caught.Nearest bigger shops are about 50km away which makes it necessary to organise your shopping tours. We would definitely love to come back.
