“The Summit at Lake Burton” is a stunning 4 Bedroom 5 Bath accommodating 10, overlooking the southern shores of Lake Burton and just down the road from LaPrades Marina. This recently built contemporary mountain retreat is situated on over an acre with a detached 3-car garage and guesthouse. The main home incudes 2 private King rooms and a 2 Bunk Room that sleeps four. In addition, a separate, fully-equipped Studio includes a King bed. Located in a private setting with a gorgeous rock fire pit where everyone will enjoy gathering, roasting marshmallows and sipping their favorite cocktail. Lake Burton consists of 62 Miles of shoreline surrounded by mountains, including some of the most tranquil waters from many streams and creeks nearby. The lake is also listed as one of the top ten most pristine in the United States!!  

The Summit is located between LaPrades Marina and Mocassin Creek State Park, so bring your boat and water toys and launch your crafts at either ramp!  LaPrades Marina, just 2 miles down the road offers a boat launch and pontoon rentals. LaPrades accommodates overnight rentals as well as storage of personal boats and trailers or park your watercrafts in the driveway at The Summit and simply trailer over to the launch. The Summit is just 1 mile from Moccasin Creek State Park for kayak, stand-up paddleboard and canoe rentals. The State Park also has a boat dock and ramp.  Anchorage Marine on the eastern side of Lake Burton offers pontoon, ski boat, jet ski and all watersport rentals. Enjoy a Lake and Mountain experience - fishing, boating, hiking, waterfalls, and fine dining, all nearby!

Summer at Lake Burton has a laid back vibe, with good food and music, and lots of fun happenings. Lake Burton Grill offers indoor or covered deck seating with stunning views of Lake Burton, a chef inspired menu featuring steaks & seafood and an extensive wine list.  The Farmhouse at Waterfall Club on the northern end of Lake Burton offers farm to table cuisine with an ever changing menu sourced from area farms in Georgia and North Carolina.  And with the nearby Appalachian Trail, Vineyards and Wineries, and several outstanding restaurants, you'll find no shortage of wonderful experiences!
