About this property

Spacious House, Quiet Neighborhood - Ideal for Long Term Stays

Hi! We've lived in this house for the past 5 years and have loved it. The house is just a couple of miles from the highway and only a few miles from the university. The neighborhood is both friendly and quiet. While you're in Fayetteville, you can experience the country anytime you step outside the neighborhood for a walk. The house itself is updated, spacious, and comfortable. The backyard pergola is a great way to unwind after a long day.

Two Week Stay, Family of 6
This house has so much potential but lacks care. It definitely needs a deep clean. There is quite a bit of clutter that hasn't been addressed and many areas need to be updated. There is trash, socks, etc. all under the king bed in the primary bedroom and while I appreciated the foil and trash bags provided in the pantry, it's also full of random, haphazardly kept food. The owner was kind and fairly responsive, but it didn't make up for the parts of the stay that weren't so great. The couch is pretty tired, and the mattresses are all over the place as far as comfort. Sheets were dirty upon our arrival, and one twin had to be a child-rated mattress. The other mattresses have all been around for a while. The hallway bathroom tub needs some drano. They've clearly done some repair work around the shower fixtures but the walls haven't been repaired. It's fine to bathe, but doesn't look great. The carpets need serious cleaning, and the kitchen faucet is still broken and water only comes through the sprayer. The owner said he was working with his plumber to have it fixed, but it was a reported problem in an August review and still has not been fixed. The kitchen is fine for a weekend stay but isn't well-appointed for long-term stay cooking. The cookware needs to be tossed and replaced - it's warped and flaking - and the house needs more dishes (except for coffee mugs and wine glasses - of those, there are plenty!). The neighborhood is quiet and close to everything.

Issues
Had plumbing issues throughout. Handles came off in shower.( which had a hole in the wall from previous issues) . Kitchen disposal had clog which took a month to get a plumber to look at because owner didn’t want to pay an “emergency “ fee. Without power twice from lack of payment. Without internet from lack of payment. Garbage scattered in backyard when moving in.( kids toys, tree limbs, etc.
