Welcome to the Seerosenhof. The `` Seerosenhof '' has been family-owned for almost 225 years. The fifth generation of the Bohns family runs the farm. The agricultural business was shut down in 1999, from the cowshed to today's restaurant / cafe De Kohstall. We welcome you in our new holiday home with 3 apartments for 2 people, as well as an apartment for up to 4 people. Enjoy your North Sea vacation in the comfortable and modern vacation properties. On the large property you will find plenty of space to relax and unwind in a quiet, rural location.
Costs on the spot: bed linen and towels are included. Parking space available. Pets not allowed.

Gut erholt

Wenn man, wie ich, in der Stadt lebt mit all der dazugehörigen Geräuschkulisse, ist es dort wunderbar ruhig und abgeschieden. Den Trubel in St. Peter kann man sich dann zusätzlich holen, falls es genau dieser Strand sein soll. Das Zimmer ist modern eingerichtet und entspricht genau den Bildern. Die Familie Bohns hat das als Gastgeber sehr gut gemacht.

Modern und schön eingerichtete Ferienwohnung / Service ist eher schlecht

Die Ferienwohnung ist neu und modern eingerichtet (wie auf den bilden zu sehen). Die Wohnung war komplett sauber. Die Küche ( 2 Platten) ist funktional eingerichtet. Die Messer sind schon etwas Stumpf und der Topf braucht sehr lange zum heiß werden. Man kann hier einfache Gerichte kochen. Wir hatten da Gefühl, dass Frau Bohns der Kontakt zu den Urlaubern aber vollkommen unwichtig ist und es ausschließlich um den Profit an der Vermietung geht. Verbrauchsmaterialien waren nicht oder nur sehr wenig in der Wohnung (Es gibt auch auf Nachfrage keine Handseife, das Pulver für die Spülmaschine war leer, eine Rolle Toilettenpapier und zwar ein Windlicht aber nur mit einem vollkommen ausgebrannten Teelicht). Diese Dinge würden kaum Mehrkosten verursachen, aber die Aufenthaltsqualität deutlich verbessern. Vor allem weil die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit auch etwas weiter entfernt liegen und man 10km fahren muss, um z.B. die Handseife zu kaufen. Jeglicher Kontakt wurde schnell beendet. Am Ende wurden wir nicht einmal gefragt, wie der Urlaub war oder ob alles mit der Wohnung war. Einfach tschüss und weg ins Restaurant. Zur Lage: Es ist wie man auf der Karte bereits vorher sehen kann eine Einzellage. Dadurch hat man einen sehr idyllischen Ausblick auf mehrere Weiden mit Kühen und Schafen. Leider gibt es an den Straßen keine Fuß- und Radwege. Daher muss man als Radfahrer auch auf der Straße fahren (Tempo 100 km/h). Das dürfte mit Kindern eher schwierig sein. Außerdem ist die Ausfahrt von dem Grundstück sehr schwer einsehbar. In beide Richtungen steht ein Schild bzw. eine Hecke im Sichtweg auf die Straße.

Ländlich und romantische Natur

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt auf dem Seerosenhof. Die Wohnungsausstattung war wunderbar sauber und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Der Hofhund und die Katzen statten liebenswerte Besuche ab und der hübsch gestaltete Garten entschleunigt ganz automatisch. Der Ausblick auf’s Land (mit Kühen und Schafen) lädt zum langen Verweilen auf der Terrasse ein. Das Restaurant bietet leckere regionale Küche mit frisch gezapftem Bier. In der Umgegend gibt es viele sehenswerte Ausflugsziele, wie zum Beispiel: Husum, Strand, Deiche, Friedrichstadt. Unter diesen hervorragenden Umständen und den netten Gastgebern, war das sicherlich nicht unser letzter Besuch auf dem Seerosenhof. Gerne wieder!
