Experience history! Enjoy the nature! Experience the unique charm of our historic school building for your vacation in a beautiful landscape. We combine country style with modern elements. Single travelers, couples or groups we have the right accommodation for you. Our new guest house is located in the historic school building in Bitburg-Mötsch and offers you vacation rentals as you wish: large and small apartments, apartments, studios and holiday rooms. Located in the quiet district of Mötsch, our guest house is only 2 km away. from the center of Bitburg with cafes, restaurants, shops and supermarkets. Our guest house borders on hiking and biking trails. Our neighbors are the local soccer field and the equestrian center. The sports home is located in the building and is happy when our guests drop by for a beer. The old school guest house is work in progress. The principal's apartment is already bookable. Further accommodations will follow in early 2020.

Rector's apartment - 90 sqm:
- Bedroom 1: In the room of the former director, in which the original parquet floor is preserved, you will find a large double bed (180 cm x 200 cm) and a pull-out day bed for a cozy afternoon siesta or for two other guests. A desk with a view of the vast landscape can be used to work or record your vacation memories. A huge oak wardrobe, originally from a castle in Luxembourg, offers plenty of space for luggage and clothing. - Bedroom 2: The second bedroom with original wooden floor has two single beds (90 cm x 200 m), a desk and a large wardrobe. - Bathroom: The bathroom has been completely renovated and equipped with a shower (90 x 90), vanity and mirror, hairdryer and sockets. - Kitchen / living area: A special highlight is the open living, dining and kitchen area. Cook together and review the day with a glass of wine. Relax as you read a book on the sofa, update Instagram with travel impressions, or watch a movie on the 55-inch 4K Smart TV. Everything can be done together. Nobody has to go into the kitchen to prepare dinner. You can eat together right on the XL kitchen island in the middle of the room. -Abstllekammer: The chamber hides the washing machine and dryer.
Costs on the spot: pets on request! No parties, smoking is not allowed anywhere in the building.

Tolle Wohnung mit Retrogefühlen

Die Wohnung war ganz genau so, wie sie beschrieben und abgebildet war. 90 m² Wohnung, schick und praktisch eingerichtet, in ruhiger Lage, Parkplatz vor der Tür und es war alles da, was wir brauchten. Absolut empfehlenswert. Der Vermieter hat täglich nachgefragt, ob es uns gut geht und ob er etwas für uns tun könnte. Also auch ganz tolle Betreuung.

De foto's zijn mooi, de werkelijkheid valt wat tegen.

Wij huurden de "Rektorenwohnung" maar beide appartementen bevinden zich op de eerste etage (alles bij elkaar een kleine 30 treden) dus voor ouderen en mensen die slecht ter been zijn niet erg geschikt. Maar ook met een buggy of kinderwagen wordt het hier lastig. Er is een groot kookeiland waaraan ook gegeten moet worden maar wanneer je de kruk wilt aanschuiven heb je een probleem want je kunt je benen niet kwijt. Aan één zijde hebben we het deurtje van de pannenkast maar open gezet en de benen in het kastje gestoken dan gaat het nog enigszins. Ergste vonden wij de bedden. Wat op de foto wellicht een boxspring lijkt zijn twee hele harde matrassen op een dikke massieve plank. We zijn met name vanwege het niet (goed) kunnen slapen daarom voortijdig weer naar huis gegaan. Wij zijn drie nachten gebleven terwijl we voor zes nachten hadden geboekt. De gehele afwerking van het appartement laat ook te wensen over. Ook hier lijkt het op de foto's mooier dan de werkelijkheid. Het hoogteverschil, de overgang, tussen slaapkamer en hal is niet afgewerkt en aan de afgesneden vloertegels zou men zich gemakkelijk kunnen snijden. Een ronduit gevaarlijke situatie. De douchekop en ook de regen-douchekop hangen erg laag, kunnen niet verder omhoog dus wanneer je langer bent dan 1.75 mtr dan moet je je bukken tijdens het douchen. We zijn verschillende keren voor een korte vakantie naar de Eifel geweest maar ook deze omgeving is wat ons betreft de minst aantrekkelijke.

Stilvolle Wohnung, perfekt für eine Familie

Anfahrt und Check-In haben dank ausführlicher Beschreibung per Vorabmail problemlos geklappt. Die Wohnung ist stilvoll eingerichtet und alles war tiptop sauber. Wir haben nichts vermisst und würden jederzeit wieder dort buchen.
