Winter getaway for city dwellers. Mt Hood Meadows is a skiers paradise, only 35 miles away. Ski all day then walk to restaurants and bars. It doesn't get any better when you book your stay at White Cap. Book for the winter ski season and save all that driving. Ski shuttle is less than a mile away.

White Cap Studio is a cozy abode to call home while you Live the dream! Three sports a day or just relax and enjoy Hood River's charm! Restaurants, shipping, breweries, wineries and a beautiful waterfront are all steps away.
This little gem is literally one block from town and surprisingly secluded on a little known section of Sherman Avenue. Park your car and walk to coffee shops, breweries, wine bars and restaurants galore! This charming place is within a short reach of Kiting, Windsurfing, SUP, whitewater kayaking, hiking, biking, skiing, snowboarding.......did we leave out anything?

The space is open, airy and partially subterranean. The room naturally stays a cool and even temperature. Even though it is set back into the hillside you are elevated from the road which gives you a better view and sense of privacy. Sleep tight on a new Parklane King sized bed after a days adventure in The Gorge. In the summer there is a window AC unit to keep you cool on hot summer days. Cable TV, efficiency kitchen. You have your own private entrance and completely separate living quarters. You are not sharing your space. This is not a pet friendly space.

Comfortable and Quiet

We stayed for 2 nights very comfortable bed. Location was perfect parked the car and walked into town,climbed the 413 stairs up the hill to a nice hike by the river. Great views of the river from the room. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

great little studio!

This was a perfect spot to stay for the weekend in Hood River. Super close walk to the "downtown" road. Had a really comfy bed, was nice and bright, and had what I needed (no full kitchen, but great for short stay). Thanks for a lovely stay!

Beautiful Studio

The only thing I would recommend the bed was a little too firm for my liking and need better bathroom lighting not good for makeup lighting. Other than that it is a great place to stay with delicious local coffee.

Cute - Clean & great location!

We flew into Portland for a wedding in Hood River and needed a convenient place to stay. Upon entry, we noticed how clean the condo was, and how cute it was decorated. Because it was so conveniently located to the downtown area it was a great location for walking to lunch and dinner. We also enjoyed driving over to the Tanamadas (sp.) hiking trail which was absolutely gorgeous! After the Wedding, we took an extra day to drive over to Cannon Beach. Got some great photos of: Haystack Rock & watching the local dogs play in the sand. We would highly recommend this condo again! 😁
