Great stay by the ocean

Great location and views! We love the location of Kona Reef and this unit had everything you need for a perfect vacation. Nice comfortable bed, snorkel gear and coolers, and nice chairs on the lanai to watch the beautiful sunsets.

This unit was everything and more! Clean, beautifully decorated, the AC was ice cold and the bed was so comfy after a long day of shopping and dining just down the street. We will be staying again! Don't hesitate, if this place is available book it!

Kona Reef Resort F22

Beautifully remodeled. Very clean and plenty of amenities for preparing a meal, convenience of washer/dryer. The only thing is the water pressure is weak so the shower could be better in that respect. Al in all, we enjoyed our stay and felt safe here. Will hopefully return!

Beautiful Ocean View Condo Getaway

Loved your little condo, a perfect place for two. Ocean views were amazing to wake up to and wind down with a cocktail and dinner. Walking distance to town center, shopping and so many good restaurants. Owner communication was exceptional. Thank you again for a wonder stay.

Location location location. Walk to everything. Grills by the pool very well maintained. If you are looking for a chill spot with options this is your place. Property mgr Tim very responsive. Will be back for sure!

This appartement had it all. Great view.Spacious and verry well equiped. Our daughter slept on the sleeping couch.It had a verry good matras. The appartement is verry clean and nicely decorated. It is close (walking distance)to the restaurants and shops. I recommend this appartement.

Amazing Sunset Views

F22 had more to offer than what was listed. It had coolers, beach loungers, beach umbrella, snorkel gear. Yoga in the morning at the beach right next to property. I cant say enough good things about this property and our stay in F22. We did not use the property as much as we traveled to Mauna Kea, Volcano National Park, a couple of waterfalls and Black sand beach and it was Ironman World Chanmpionships week. I will tell you there is 2 parking garages and be sure to take the 1st entrance and take the elevators to F22. After traveling all day we took the 2nd entrance to the property and it took me awhile to find my car, LOL

Amazing

Our visit to this property was amazing. Hawaiian Isle Real Estate made booking this property, checking in and checking out easy. The location is magnificent (within walking distance to restaurants and shops), and we liked the view of both the ocean and the pool. The condo was clean, and the kitchen and bathroom were stocked with the basics, including lots of towels. The bed was comfortable, which is so important. And oh, there were so many hangars in the closet. We also appreciated the ensuite washer and dryer. The owners did an amazing job of decorating the condo and keeping it in excellent condition, including new appliances and some recent renovations. You will need a car to get groceries, but we wanted one anyway to tour around the big Island. We are happy to give this condo a thumbs up 5/5.

Kona Reef has the perfect location

We have stayed at the Reef before so pretty much understood what we were getting. The condo was nicely decorated which is what drew me to it for booking. The owners have kept things in a mostly neutral palate without the usual Hawaiian kitch.The bed coverlet is white and presents a clean look. There are tasteful pieces of art and accessories throughout. The kitchen is stocked with everything you would need for meals/cooking but the only time we used it was for making coffee. Something we really appreciated was the amount of hangers in the closet which was generous. Lanai furniture was a good quality teak with comfortable cushions, both a high top and 2 shorter armchairs. I am very finicky about the cleanliness of a shower and the tile and grout of this one was in good shape. After the praise, I have 2 quibbles. The floor throughout was so dirty our bare feet were black after our first couple of hours settling in. We asked the management company to send the housekeepers back to re-mop and it was better although still not totally satisfying. The other thing is how cheap the paper products were, toilet tissue, paper towels, Kleenex. It’s false economy when you end up using twice as much. Overall, we would be happy to stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay on The Big Island. The condo provided a great base for us to explore the area. We loved that there were two aircons in the condo…and a lovely sea view! Perfect. We didn’t use the pool or any facilities, so we can’t comment on that! We greatly appreciated the beach chairs and beach towels, and having a washer-dryer in the unit was very handy. I just noted that there is some road noise, but it didn’t impact our sleep too much.

Beautiful View

This is our 4th time staying at Kona Reef & the first time in F-22. All the comforts of home. Nice two air conditioners. Beach accessories & plenty of towels. This is a great location and a beautiful view overlooking the pool.

Thanksgiving getaway

For the last 6 years we’ve been coming to Hawaii for Thanksgiving. This year we stayed on the big island in this updated condo. Amazing sunset views, great pool that sits just right next to ocean. The unit has everything we needed. Particularly fond of the deck, shower and kitchen. Plus a brand new washer and dryer. The owners have clearly thought about what travelers might need. There was even a yoga mat and several of coolers for the beach. Would definitely come back.

Our apartment was beautiful and the view was even better than the pictures indicated. Unit was well stocked, including a first-aid kit that came in handy. Convenient to shops and restaurants and a nice peaceful beach beside the complex. I highly recommend this place.

When we arrived we had an issue and it was promptly and professionally handled by property management company. We arrived late and were able to contact via cell phone and they sorted it out promptly. Was very pleased how it was handled. Unit is very clean, great amenities (all the spices, compliances, new washer dryer), extremely comfy bed! Complex is a condo association with a lot of rules, if respectful of others there should be no issues!!! Pool and hot tub was excellent and had nice grills of you want to grill out one night. The location and view was fantastic, close walk to all things Kona.
