About this property
Beautiful Private Accommodation - Ngorongoro Highlands
This is a two story house surrounded by indigenous trees on three acres of re-wilded land. It is situated on top of a hill with views of Mount Oldeani, the Rift Valley Escarpment and the Ngorongoro Highlands. It is located a few kilometres for Karatu, one hour from Lake Eyasi and about 20 minutes from the Ngorongoro Conservation Area gate. We have an organic vegetable garden. Your are welcome to draw on it for your self catering needs. If you would like us to provide meals for you that also is possible at an added cost.

I was born and raised in Tanzania and live in Arusha where I work at one of the international schools. I have teenage twins and quite a busy life but would love to meet you if it works for you.
Why they chose this property
My Canadian mother bought this property for me in 2002 when they built a good road from Makiyuni through Mtu wa Mbu and Karatu up to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area gate. She recently finished building the house and stays there from time to time. In the last few years we have been able to get water and electricity hooked up and an all-weather road has been built between the main road and our place.

This place is great for people interested in staying in a peaceful, natural environment but it also affords visitors daytrip access to places such as Lakes Eyasi and Manyara, as well Ngorongoro Crater and more.
