Everything about our experience and stay was absolutely perfect. Karen did a fantastic job communicating pre-and post trip. All the amenities you need. Perfect location. Will be back.
We loved the peace and quiet. My husband's favorite thing was the wood burner which the guys took turns tending over the weekend. The warm light never went out on the front right burner on the stove, but it was cold to the touch when the other lights went out.
We enjoyed staying at this cabin for a long weekend. It was our second stay here because we loved it so much the first time. It was clean and had everything we needed for a great weekend.
The purpose of our stay was to enjoy time with friends and ride the SIltop property over the 4th of July. The house was clean and decorated so nice. Karen was friendly and helpful allowing us to check in early and check out late. Great location.
The property is everything that it says is..
The best part was how quiet it is.. The closest other property that has inhabitants is about 500 yds away.. it's on a little dirt road but it's well maintained and smooth and there's very little traffic. The cabin is incredibly clean inside and out.
incredibly clean.
The cabin was well clean, quiet, and well equipped and furnished. Karen went above and beyond to host the property and communication was awesome! I would highly recommend her as a host and the property as well!
We had a great weekend! The cabin was beautiful inside and out. Everything was very clean and the cabin felt right at home. We can't wait to get back again!
The cabin was clean and comfortable. It was a perfert home base for exploring the area. We did see several deer while relaxing in the evenings. I would recommend this place for a quiet getaway.
The host was extremely polite and easy to get a hold of. The house was beautiful and filled with little surprises throughout. We all had a great time and will be back!
The cabin was tucked away in a quiet secluded area. Not too far from Brookville. Very clean, plenty of space for four of us. Fire pit and covered outdoor space was enjoyable in the evenings. Would recommend
This is an awesome place to stay the listings was spot on about the property. If you are an outdoors person this is certainly the place for you. After a long day hunting in the woods it was great to come home and be able to relax in front of a wood stove warming up and drying out your clothes for the next day. We would see wildlife on the lawn every day. I would definitely recommend staying at this property.
The cabin was clean and beautiful. It was equipped with everything that we needed or could have wanted. The pictures are 100% accurate and the host responded quickly when ever I had a question. We will be back for another visit
This property met all of my family's needs during our stay to PA. We arrived late after the Penn State football homecoming game and had a wonderful time relaxing and making a few meals. Listening to the rain fall and cows moo it was just what we needed to wind down from our travels from CO. Thank You!
This was a fantastic cabin to come back to after a day of fishing. It was extremely cozy and comfortable. We had a day of storms and it was great listening to the wind whip outside while our boots were drying by the heater. I would recommend it to anyone in the area.
Pictures were accurate. Setting is pretty rural I did not hear any highway noise. Place was very nice. Quick response from owners regarding any questions. Positive experience.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this location. While we found the hanging animal heads...bones...and pelts a bit daunting, they added to our overall experience. In fact, the kids have named a few of the animals. We also found a large doe at eye level when looking outside of the lower bedroom window. It was wonderful.
Nice place to stay. Close to Cook Forest & Clear Creek.
Nice place. For some reason there were dead flies all over the place and a dead cockroach in the bathrooms, but being so close to the woods that is expected. But it was clean. In kitchen only one potholder and no toaster. Not a big deal though.
Once again we had the pleasure of enjoying family time in an open space with all the amenities. The floor was clean enough to allow our 14 month old baby crawl to her hearts content. And our 9 year old was amazed by the various animal heads on the wall (me...not so much, humor intended). It stormed during the second night, and while we heard the rain on the roof, it was somehow comforting. One note, please leave the porch light on for guests arriving after sunset.
