Although we are only one mile outside of the town of Damascus, we are surrounded by 80 acres of woods. (Ck. For certain times ot permitted in woods due to hunting season) You will have your own washer/dryer. Baltimore and Washington DC are only 42 miles away, Adventure Park is only 8 miles away and Harpers Ferry is only 35 miles away (you can go rafting or boating there) Feed our horses. We also have a theatre room

You will find the accommodations very clean and comfortable.

Keywords: Come enjoy your stay here. You will find the rooms very clean. close to Washington DC, Gettysburg, Baltimore and Harpers Ferry (water rafting available). Horseback riding 5 minutes away.Adventure Park about 10 mins away.(see link) Private everything. The woods are off limits to walk in September to January 18th People might be hunting there.

Great family visit spot!!

This was an amazing place to stay. We said it multiple times while we were there that it had everything we needed and the host was very responsive and accommodating and literally thought of everything! The movie room was great, toys for kids to play with, kitchen all set up, lovely fireplace and comfy couch and beds, we loved the relaxing view out the sliding doors of the horse and land and played lots of Ping pong and air hockey. Definitely would stay here again!

Serene property with all the amenities!

We can't wait to visit again! The horses are beautiful, the unit is well-appointed. We loved the games in the game room and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

Very Happy With Stay

Great location in a beautiful area. Numerous historical sites within a short distance. House is very comfortable and included everything we needed. Debbie was very responsive to the questions we had. Would stay there again.

Friendship and Local Tours

Pros: This place was clean and convenient for visiting Gettysburg and Harpers Ferry with my Bffs and our kids. We enjoyed the theater room, ping pong table and outdoor grill. Cons: 1)There were guests also staying at 2 RVs and a garage apartment that we did not expect. During a pandemic, I feel that this would have been nice to know. There is a reason we chose not to stay in a hotel. 2) There was ambiguity in the directions for where guests could walk and my loved ones inadvertently put themselves in danger by walking to the pond in an area we did not realize was part of the woods where there were hunters. 3) The amenities listed a stove. The reality was a two burner hot plate with only 1 functioning burner. We were not able to make the lasagna or other meals we had planned and packed for.
