Florence Landmark. Family Stay

Very historic part of North Alabama. Enjoyed our week stay in the Purple Mansion. Well supplied and very comfortable bedding. We were a little cold but had some space heaters to help knock off the chill. Overall a very comfortable and rare experience to stay in a historic home. The owners are very happy to help and answer questions

Best Thanksgiving Ever!!

I grew up in Florence, and I had always wanted to stay in one of the historic houses located very close to UNA. The Purple House provided a place big enough for my entire family to gather for the holiday for the first time in two years. We had a wonderful time! The house was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves. Thank you!!

Loved the purple house!

We visit family twice a year in Florence. My mother in law is now in a nursing home near by this property and we loved the convenience! Will definitely rent this house in the spring ! —- Mahalo !!!

Beautiful home, great hosts

We had an amazing time at the purple house. The rooms are spacious and the front porch is welcoming. We spent many days on the porch people watching, visiting with family, playing with a neighborhood cat, listening to the UNA lion, and just watching the world go by. The hosts are incredibly responsive and kind and let us know about local events while we were there.
