About this property

Our 1900s Schoolhouse is the perfect family friendly house close to Silver Lake Sand Dunes! Plenty of room for yard games, enjoying a cup of coffee on the screened in porch, a bonfire at night sharing stories with your friends and family. Centrally located between Mears, Hart and Pentwater. There is plenty of parking for trucks and trailers! Campers allowed, limit of 2, at extra cost per night. We are 2 miles from the Dune entrance and 2.7 miles from Cedar Point County Park(recently updated).

Wonderful home, clean and with everything we needed for a three-night stay for 4 adults and 5 children. We loved the proximity to the dunes, the yard games and fire pit, the extra touches such as s'mores kit. Comfy beds and plenty of room for us all to sleep.

Silverlake Sand Dune Trip~Mears MI

This house was an excellent choice! Very well appointed in kitchen and with linens. Plenty of parking. Great fire pit. And thank you for the Smores Station! The family members who slept in the upstairs said the beds were not comfortable. I slept in the bedroom on first floor and it was fine. All in all, I would recommend the Schoolhouse Cottage.
