I was born in Texas, grew up in Colorado and moved to the Lowcountry in 2001 with my husband Paul. Paul was born in Asheville, NC and we met at Auburn University. His family introduced me to The Lowcountry in 1998. We have 2 daughters, 2 dogs, and have been searching for The Creek House for almost 20 years. We finally found our “Much Sneed’ed Vacation” in June 2020.

After I moved to Auburn and met my awesome husband, I always missed the Fall in Colorado. I was searching for a place that could give me the “Fall Vibe” similar to what it was like in Pagosa Springs, CO. When we finally moved here after 9/11 I started to watch the marsh change just like the “quakies” in the Rocky Mountains. Instead of looking up towards the San Juan mtns to see the vibrant colors change, I started looking down at the marsh and realized it was exactly the same!! Instead of fly fishing for rainbow trout I fell in love with fly fishing for redfish. We love the outdoors, birding, spending time on the dock and around the campfire. The Creek House has a very special vibe to it that guests will feel. There is an old soul to this magical piece of land. Paul and I are so excited to share it with others.
