Nice winter getaway. Property was in a beautiful location and nicely appointed. Beach chairs included which was very nice. Would definitely stay again.
We enjoyed our stay at the condo. The place is in a great location with beautiful beach view. Condo is well stocked with everything making the stay very convenient. Host is super nice. Would highly recommend the condo.
Was an amazing two weeks…long walks on the beach out front every day..terrific meals at Too Chez, Savant and Buccaneer
Well equipped condo in a good location..will definitely be back!!!!
Very quiet neighborhood…don’t forget to visit Off the Wall and Blues BBQ✔️✔️✔️
My family and I chose to stay at Dolphin’s Paradise because of location and amenities advertised about the property. It was true to its description and outside of a non working air conditioner in one of the rooms that we had to gerryrig to make tolerable, our stay was swell. Easy, comfortable, convenient.
The property was as expected. Plenty of room for two couples. It was conveniently located to everything on the island. The information shared by the property owner, Richelle, was so helpful. Her communication was excellent and made our visit the island a breeze!
Everything about our stay from the moment we arrived was amazing. Richelle was awesome and very quick to answer any questions. Condo was perfect and well stocked. My 9 year old son, who is normally ready to get home after a vacation was super bummed and did not want to leave. Location was perfect and condo grounds were gorgeous. Would definitely stay here again.
My husband and I took our teenage daughter and her friend to St. Croix for a different type of vacation as we usually stay in all-inclusive resorts. We found the condo to be as advertised- clean with everything we needed for a great stay. We rented a car, which was important to getting around the island for dinner and activities. During the day we enjoyed the community pool and beach access. Richelle was very responsive and accommodating- we appreciated her help with questions and felt confident she would make sure our stay was an enjoyable one. A great vacation for all!
The condo and property are just as described. The unit is immaculate, comfortable, and the kitchen is *very* well stocked with the usual dining and cooking ware, plus small appliances and nice gadgets (and also includes the bottle of Mutiny vodka we left behind). The bed is super comfy (we only used the master bedroom) with amazingly soft Tommy Bahama bedding and Tommy Hilfiger towels. The view is stunning.
We especially appreciated the provided beach chairs, floats, cooler, towels, toiletries and other incidentals. We would definitely stay there again!
We are long-time patrons of another short-term rental company and were new to VRBO when we reserved this unit. Unfortunately, our ignorance about VRBO communications caused undue stress upon our arrival, i.e, we got lost, the gps didn’t help, it was getting dark… not the way anyone wants to start a vacation. In desperation, we sent the owner a message on VRBO, to which she promptly replied and eventually called to help. She kept mentioning emails that we never received from VRBO… and therein was the problem. We did not see the notice on the rental page that said communication would come from Dolphin’s Paradise, and it had all gone to spam. Once we figured that out, we were good to go. So take note of those little disclaimers!!
Richelle, thanks for your patience and for talking us off the ledge. We promise to not be problem children in the future!
Good to know:
- Don’t bother bringing your own streaming stick from the mainland - it won’t work in VI, even on a VPN. (Or if you know a work around, please post it!)
- The condo living room is two steps down from the foyer and kitchen. Could be an issue for those with mobility difficulties.

We just had time for a short stay, but we loved every minute. The condo is simply gorgeous, with everything we needed. The owner has truly thought of everything. Pelican Cove is super quiet and relaxing, and the pool is beautiful. I took a swim in the pool every day of our visit.
The ocean swimming area is just down the beach a little (there rocks/sea urchins directly in front of the condos), but it’s a very short walk, and is also really nice (although I must admit, I loved the pool!).
We are already looking at a trip back down in a few months, and will definitely stay at Dolphin's Paradise.
Every detail was covered. It was an amazing stay. I really don’t know what else to say. It was a wonderful home for a month. I’m going to miss it. Stay here if you can!
Comfortable condo, well-stocked kitchen, fast internet, well-maintained grounds, nice pool, close restaurant and grocery store, and great view of the beach. There was no cable, but we used the DVD and streaming services. I enjoyed reading at the beach, but we drove elsewhere to swim due to the rocks. We appreciated the beach towels, chairs, and cooler provided for our use. It’s close to Christiansted and felt very safe. We loved it and plan to return.
This condo had a lot of extras. There were beach chairs and towels for our use which was very helpful. The kitchen was nicely stocked. It was great having a washer and dryer in the unit for those wet bathing suits. We were able to have a late check-out, since our flight wasn’t until 6:00. We were very grateful for the extra time to use the pool.
This is a wonderful condo, fully (I mean like fully!) stocked, super safe and convenient. We are very active hikers, swimmers, divers and spent time in the unit mostly at night and in the early morning. Great porch to watch the seaplane landing approach and listen to the crashing waves. My wife and I are not A/C people, so we just used the fans and let the breeze cool us. Our daughter used the very effective A/C when in the unit. All perfect - and the hands down best pool on the island! For reference our first 3 trips were to the Buccaneer, the 4th to Club St. Croix. Buc was nice, but we will always try to book Pelican Cove and esp. this unit. Richelle is a joy to work with!
We were two couples who stayed at Dolphin’s Paradise in July 2021. The pictures very accurately reflect the condo, which we found to be spacious, very clean, well-equipped and comfortable. Kitchen appliances were high-end, the kitchen was well-stocked with gadgets and condiments, etc. The beds were very comfortable with high quality linens - towels were provided, including beach/pool towels. Each of the bedrooms and the living room have a wall-mounted a/c unit which is common on the island, so everyone can adjust to a comfortable temperature for them. Ceiling fans are in all the rooms. The condo is solidly built, which means that we didn’t hear any noise from the neighbours during our stay. Internet was very consistent - good enough to stream TV shows on the Roku TVs that are in the rooms. We experienced a couple of brief power/internet outages while there but that is common on an island like this.
The location of the condo complex is very central for getting to Christiensted or Fredricksted or any of the other sites of the island. Having a rental car is a must. It feels very safe, and the swimming pool was one of the largest I have seen in a condo complex. The hot tub beside it was a nice addition. We were not troubled by insects at all during the stay - you get a few flying things, but some bug spray helps keep them away.
Sitting outside in the mornings, either on the patio, watching and listening to the mockingbirds in the palm trees, or taking the provided beach chairs down to the water and sitting in the shade of a palm tree to enjoy our coffee made the start to each day very enjoyable. Tip for guests - if you want to sit out on the porch, turn up the a/c temperature (or turn it off) in both the master bedroom and the living room so that you don’t have to listen to the noise while enjoying being outside. At the time we were there, the beach was free of Sargassum (a problem which many other beaches on the island are having right now). The beach is rocky, and continues to be shallow a long way out - not really a swimming beach, but there are plenty of those close-by.
The host, Richelle, was very communicative and took time to answer all our questions prior to our stay, and made sure that we were doing well during our stay. She was very responsive to text messages. Her on-site staff, Michael, was a very effective addition. The damage deposit was refunded promptly.
We highly recommend this property.
Words cannot express how happy we were with the location of the property, the condo itself and the overall accommodations. Our family of four never found the accommodations lacking. Kitchen was well stocked, plenty of towels (bath & beach), beach chairs and we absolutely loved the patio furniture and view. We loved our stay at Dolphin's Paradise!
This condo is exactly as listed! Clean and Comfortable! We have stayed in different properties before and this one we didn't need for anything except to purchase some food items. Everything you could think of was readily available. The kids really enjoyed the large pool and it was always empty when we used it. The beach was footsteps away. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here. You will not be disappointed.

Very nice condo
This is an especially well equipped condo in a nice property. It is an easy drive into town for restaurants and supermarkets are close by on the way to town. The patio of the condo was nice and comfortable for both reading and eating. The beach is nice but the entrance to the water is rocky and not good for swimming. There is a small area in front of The Palms restaurant about 150 yards away that you can get in. When we were there in January, the beach was very windy and waves too rough for snorkeling (typical for the north shore) but the weather was grand. The Palms restaurant is a easy walk up the beach or road. We waited for over a hour at dinner for our food order to be served and other patrons told us that is typical even though it was not crowded. Not good service. The food was average. St. Croix is fairly easy to get around after a few days familiarizing with maps even though the roads are not well marked. Do not try to drive the "scenic route" around the northwest part of the island as the road is nothing but potholes.

Truly a horse eats away from home!
This unit exceeded our expectations as it has more than everything we needed for a relaxing stay andown sits on well kept grounds. Combined with a great kitchen, very comfortable beds and a view of the water this makes the perfect spot to enjoy all the island has to offer.

Great location and well equipped
Condo is tucked away in a great location but close to town. We stayed for over a week and had a rental car so we went
all over the island. Appreciated that condo was stocked with beach towels & chairs, basic snorkel gear, books to read, etc. Had everything we needed!

About the host
Hosted by Reservations at Dolphin's Paradise (Richelle)
After vacationing in beach destinations around the world, we tried the US Virgin Islands and fell in love with St. Croix. We purchased our condo here in May of 2012, and rent it out when we aren't using it ourselves.
Why they chose this property
We looked at condo complexes all over the island, but the relaxed, quiet atmosphere at Pelican Cove, easy access to the beach, beautiful pool, well maintained grounds, and open floor plans with large rooms in the condos themselves made it a no-brainer to pick Pelican Cove over the others. The close proximity to Christiansted and some of our favorite restaurants to hang out along the boardwalk didn't hurt either.
