About this property

Brand new, fully remodeled tack room in a working barn at Rebel Ranch.

Welcome to Rebel Ranch; an extremely unique stay, property and location. This is a fully remodeled apartment in a working barn. You'll walk past the chicken coop and horse stalls to enter the unit; If you are not feeling adventurous, it may not be for you. This property sits on 80 acres that borders the Medicine Bow National Forest. So many opportunities! Come hunt, snowmobile, side by side, snow shoe, hike, mountain bike or ski Snowy Range Ski Resort.

Other than our cabin and the main house (also available on Airbnb) there are no neighbors in sight; enjoy the peace and quiet of Wyoming. This property is 30 min from a grocery store, plan ahead to arrive prepared. There are a couple great restaurant options a few minutes up the road in Centennial. We definitely recommend trying the Old Corral. There is also the Bear Bottom inn. Visit our farm store, The Bougie Bison, located across from the barn. We have our own Bison, honey and eggs for sale along with other locally sourced products. We focus on local and US made products, supporting fellow small business owners.

You have access to the entire apartment and use of the property, including direct access to the Medicine Bow National Forest.

This is a studio style apartment within the barn. The barn apartment does not have Wi-Fi or a tv (perfect time to unplug and enjoy the outdoors)! Cell service is usually available, depending on your carrier. You will be the only ones in the barn, unless you bring your horses or dogs! Catch the morning sunrise with great views of Sheep Mountain while sipping your coffee.

This apartment is newly re-built after an unfortunate fire. High end finishes and furniture include soapstone countertops, tile floors, a hydraulic Murphy bed and real leather whiskey chairs. It's taken a year of time, energy and money to make a comfortable, welcoming space. We hope all guests will treat this space as they would their own home.

Breathing views and animal friendly

The property is beautiful. It was so relaxing and they are very welcoming of our dogs that travel with us. Greeted us upon arrival to make sure we had everything we needed. Would recommend!

unique experience

While staying in a barn is a little unique, the property was very clean and comfortable. We loved the view, quiet and peaceful area. Location was great to head to the mountains to fish in area lakes. Great space for 2 people.

Such a lovely cozy place! Being greeted by the horses was a fun treat. Host had great communication and gave very detailed instructions on how to get to the apartment. We will definitely be back! In our opinion this is the perfect place to stay while skiing at snowy range or just exploring this part of Wyoming.

What a beautiful property and apartment! Enjoy a ranch experience by being close to horses and bison. In the morning, Josh offered to let us help feed the bison which was so cool. Very nice & quiet. Crazy stars at night too.

Went in with a buddy to sled and it was great! Small little cabin close to the lodge. Josh was so down to earth and helpful! Awesome facilities overall! No wifi or tv so if you cant live without its not the place for you!! Real close and cozy to nature for sure! Would stay again!

What a wonderful place! Home away from home. I could totally live there. It's an apartment in an actual barn...critters and all. Go to sleep to the coyotes howling and wake up to the chickens crowing. Beautiful, wonderful spot!

Excellent Place for Couples

My wife and I stayed here for the weekend. We were able to access Medicine Bow National Forest with our ATV’s from the property. The apartment off of the barn was perfect. We had plenty of room to park the trailer and the place was perfect for the two of us. Joshua was more than accommodating. We will definitely be back.

Ski Doo Snowmobile !

I love this place. Amazing Red Barn surrounded by Buffaloes, horses and chicken. My wife and I were sad to leave the Rebel Ranch this morning. Our dog love running around the ranch. Hopefully, we can come back again someday. Rancher and his wife are very nice people.

Spectacular getaway for winter fun!

Such a perfectly appointed space. It's a cozy location to enjoy the winter fun and the proximity to the Snowy Range / Medicine Bow is incredible. The space is perfect for two and a dog. The space is sunny and bright and has everything you need for comfort. We really enjoyed watching the chickens and horses from our well thought out and well furnished place. Joshua is a spectacular host and we enjoyed hiking on the ranch as well. Nothing but praise for 3 days of fun!

New Years Getaway

Absolutely amazing. The place was clean, decor was cute and beautiful, the animals around was an awesome additive ( Chickes, Horses, Bison) Nothing better than wakin to the Roosters 🐓 singing and watching the Horses and Bison with a nice cup of coffee. The host clearly cares about his property and has put a lot of love and care into this adorable barn cabin and surrounding property. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be going back. Thank you for making our start to the new years amazing by sharing this awesome place with my husband and I.

Perfect remote getaway!

Amazing remote property. I went with my boyfriend and our small pup. The barn apartment was the perfect little size for us. We were so surprised that it was a working barn with horses and Bison! It was so cool to wake up and pet some horses. It was so nice to not have wifi and disconnect. He has a fantastic assortment of dvds that we loved to watch during the cold windy nights. Josh was so nice, accommodating, and knowledgeable about hikes near by. We will definitely be looking at coming back in the future!

An Unforgettable and Rejuvenating Stay

My boyfriend and I stayed here after skiing at Snowy Range and could not have been more impressed by Josh's hospitality, the quality of this cozy barn, and its proximity to the ski mountain while feeling very remote. It was hard to believe we were sharing a barn with horses and chickens because we never heard a sound or smelled a thing! The barn is incredibly well designed and has the most charming touches. The bed was very comfortable and the host was so kind to leave samples of great skincare products. It was very fun to wake up to a panoramic view of the mountains and the farm animals grazing right outside our window! We would come back in a heartbeat and bring our friends to stay at the larger property that is also onsite!

It was unlike any place we've ever stayed. So cool! Host was so friendly and showed us the other buildings on the property. Even gave us fresh eggs! There were games and movies, condiments, coffee, etc. Never had that before! The bed was excellent, along with the blankets they provided. We woke up to the roster every morning, watched the buffalo from our bedroom window and watched the horses from the kitchen window. The only thing that could have been better was it needed a good dusting. Other than that, it was just perfect! So quiet and just beautiful! We will stay there again!
