Step inside and enjoy the cool relief of central air conditioning, enhanced by the stone-style floors and beachy color scheme throughout. Equipped with a gourmet kitchen, this home is perfect for groups looking to spend time together. Store your vacation libations in the designated wine fridge. The outdoor kitchen features a built-in grill and minifridge for side dishes and condiments. The private pool and hot tub covered completely by a lanai, so you can enjoy a swim whenever the mood strikes. Rinse off in the outdoor shower, then come inside and settle in at one of the multiple sitting areas. A desk workspace is all set up for guests who have remote work to complete. The main bedroom features a stone shower, as well as a separate soaking tub for relaxing after a day or adventure. 2 days notification is required in order to heat the pool and pool spa. A fee of USD 32 per day must be paid prior to check-in to purchase pool and pool spa heat for your stay.


Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

"Brokedown Palace" With water stains on the ceiling throughout the house, light bulbs burnt out, tv's missing from walls (just the mounts remaining), food from the previous guests in the cabinets (sitting open), and painting desperately needed throughout the home, I would not recommend this property. It feels very neglected, and I'm disappointed that our family spent the money to vacation here.

Please know that we have reviewed your concerns with our local team, and we confirm that the water stains in the ceiling have been fixed. They are caused by guests leaving the sliding glass doors open while the A/C is running. Our team checks all light bulbs when inspecting the property to make sure everything is working. We wish we had more details regarding the ones you found that were not working. The refrigerator and cabinets are always emptied by cleaners. Our apologies if something was left behind. The third bedroom's TV was having a hard time keeping reception. We removed it for that reason, and we kept the bracket up until we began painting and patching. The owner has since received a quote to have the interior painted and also other items updated. We apologize for the inconvenience caused, and we value your insights, as they help us understand the guest experience better. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again.

Great spot to stay in Marco’s island

We stayed in Marco’s island for 3 night with family and the house was great. It has great location, very close to the beach, restaurants and stores. We loved being able to sit on a dock and enjoy! House is not super new but it also reflected that in the price.

Lovely home!

This house is beautiful! It is spacious, very well-equipped, clean and comfortable. It was perfect for our vacation with three teens because we had one area of the house and they had the other. It is close to everything on Marco Island. The freezer did not work, but other than that, it was great!

Quiet Get Away

Marco Island is a beautiful quiet town with beautiful shell filled beaches. The house at 1097 Cottonwood was perfect for our time there. We made use of the bicycles and cruised through the town to tiger tail beach. The home is central to everything on the island and easily accessible. We enjoyed fishing in the back, caught some flounder, and shoreline fishing. Beautiful pool in the back. Gorgeous bedrooms and plenty of space for the five of us. We truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you. (the faucet on the bathtub in the master bath was leaking and needs repair)

Loved the house it was perfect! However we prepaid for heat for the pool and when we arrived it was not heated. Spoke to Vacasa about it daily and they said they’d relay it to local team and nothing was done and wouldn’t give us the local telephone number. Finally got a hold of owner who was phenomenal and took care of everything immediately! Love the house and the owner, however Vacasa was a disappointment

I recently stayed at this property and was extremely disappointed with the overall condition and cleanliness. For the amount of money I paid, I expected a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained home — but that was not the case. When we arrived, there was a strong, unpleasant odor throughout the house. Every surface was dirty, the dishes had food residue on them, and the mattresses were stained gray and yellow. The beds were uncomfortable, and there were even bedbugs, which is completely unacceptable. I had also paid extra to have the pool heated, but it stayed cold for most of our stay. The hot tub never reached a proper temperature, and the pool only became warm on the last day. While Vacasa did refund the heating cost, it was disappointing considering the overall price of the rental. Many of the advertised amenities didn’t work. Only one TV functioned, half the lights didn’t turn on, the doors didn’t close properly, and neither grill worked. The garage was piled high with broken items from past guests. I specifically booked this home because it included bikes, but most were broken and unsafe to ride. The worst part was spending part of my vacation cleaning and trying to fix things so my family could enjoy even a portion of what we paid for. This property is not being properly maintained, and it shows. Vacasa should inspect and repair this home before renting it again. You Are On Your Own!

When we checked in the air conditioning, ice maker, and pool all had issues. I reached out to Vacasa via phone and texts everyday I was there and no one ever came to the house to address these issues. All I got was lip service and apologies from somebody obviously at a call center. There is ZERO local contact. I received all kinds of frilly texts saying that they were working on it and nothing ever happened. Do not rent from VRBO if they are using Vacasa.

DON'T RENT VACASA PROPERTIES!

I take complete ownership of going with a Vacasa property when I should have stuck with VRBO- and rented from an actual owner. Though I am surprised that VRBO allows Vacasa to list their properties on their site. While this house was nicely furnished & clean- there was zero communications on anything while staying. I had pre-paid for the pool heat (only knowing to do that because I happened to download the vacasa app)- however during our stay we could not get it working. I called Vacasa SEVEN TIMES across 3 days- with ZERO RESOLUTION. We rented this property for the pool/hot tub and we never got to utilize it. Following our stay I have reached out to Vacasa for a refund on the heating fee- and was told they will not refund. Next time I will DEFINITELY use a rental by OWNER- so that I can interact with an individual who actually cares about our stay. VRBO- take VACASA off your listings!

Almost perfect

Beautiful, clean house. Comfortable furniture. Everything looks brand new. Only problem was there was no information given on a property host. I tried calling vacasa to help with the hot tub because it was not hot, only warm. They were supposed to call the next day and come out. They never did. No instructions were left at the property. Also one of the cabinet doors fell off when we opened it to find glasses. My husband had to catch it. It was missing 2 screws to hold it on the hinges. Also, the silverware drawer face came off with opening the drawer. We had to pop that back on. Not sure who to report that to since Vrbo did not respond to any of my messages and the sub company Vacasa wasn’t very helpful contacting someone to help with the hot tub.
