A great place to stay in an area with few options. This property is clean and is perfect for a quiet get away. With relatives in the area, it's a great choice to have a little quiet time. Also, loved the cows!
My husband and I stayed for only 24 hours. We had everything we needed. It was comfortable and cozy. April was prompt in replying to any questions I had.
I really love this place! Is my second time here.
Just consider is not easy to cook something elaborared, but if you are only traveling no matter.
Thanks!!
PS: cows wake up early and is noce to hear them!
The property was very nice and clean. We were in town for business but enjoyed our off time in the loft watching movies and enjoying the farm life outside:)
My family of 4 (two children and two adults) stayed there while visiting family. It was a great place to relax during visits. The place was clean! The bed was comfortable and the pullout couch was comfortable too! The description was spot on. Highly recommend!

It was quiet and remote. There is very little cell service, which hindered us looking for things in the area. Weather was very rainy so it was muddy around the outside areas, so we chose not to go out and explore the area. We loved the place and will stay there again.
We had a wonderful night and morning on the farm. The loft was very comfortable and we relaxed and enjoyed each other's company. The Patterson's are such a wonderful couple who are very knowledgeable and compassionate about their farms and cattle. We plan to return to the barndominium!

Not only was the place breathtaking and gorgeous but up to date. everything we had.... Surplus of towels blankets pillows dishware and the hostess was amazing. She took her time to make sure we were good she took her time to make sure she gave us some country food that was a specialty of theirs and I have never experienced anything better and I have rented several places. This is been the best by far

Aww! Thank you Lauren! We're so glad you enjoyed your stay with us and appreciate your sweet review! Hope to have y'all again! We have really cool events on our farm the first weekend in May, October and December if you're ever back in the area visiting!
1st, April is the best host on VRBO! She is very sweet and accommodating. Being on the farm was a very relaxing and unique experience. It was fun to tour the main farm at Acres of Grace. Very nice place! The loft apartment was completely clean and decorated in a cute farmhouse style. There were plenty of towels. We enjoyed the DVD player and DVDs. We were able to bring food and even cooked breakfast on the hot plate. We look forward to coming back to the area.
I was in the area because my daughter attended a summer camp in a nearby town. The unit was clean and comfortable. April was very responsive to any and all questions. The unit had everything I needed to make a meal for myself. I even used a little pan and single burner appliance to make a yummy steak. The shower pressure was good. The DVD selection was great. The decor was nice. The air conditioner kept the unit a comfortable temp. I have AT&T and I was able to text my family from time to time. Otherwise cell service was pretty limited. If Wifi is a must for you, consider a hot spot that uses the AT&T network. Overall I had a great experience at this rental.
Such a fun stay at a farm! We needed a couple things and April was super responsive and got whet we needed quickly. Accommodations were clean, comfy and cozy. Loved hearing a donkey somewhere below us in the barn!
The story of Acres of Grace Farms began in April 2011 when fate (and a Bassett hound named Roscoe) brought us together. At the time, Nick was working as an associate veterinarian at a rural mixed-animal clinic in Celina, Tennessee. April brought in Roscoe with an injured foot, and from that moment, it was love at first sight—not just for us, but for Roscoe too!
As Nick cared for Roscoe, our relationship grew, leading to our marriage in June 2012. Since then, we've worked side by side on the farm and helped manage April’s family businesses, which support 150 employees in rural Moss, Tennessee. We're deeply passionate about the beef industry and love inspiring and educating young farmers.
In 2020, we welcomed our son, Axel, into our family. With this exciting new chapter, we decided to sell our farm in Bowling Green and move closer to home. When we found this property, we fell in love with it—especially the charming barn loft. It was such a fun and unique space that we transformed it into a cozy studio-style apartment for guests to enjoy.
Staying here means experiencing life on a working farm, so don’t be surprised if you see cows, bulls, or donkeys roaming nearby! We love sharing a piece of our world with others and hope you enjoy your stay at Acres of Grace Farms.
Why they chose this property
Our farm is surrounded by beautiful open pastures where we keep and care for our cattle. The atmosphere is peaceful, with the daily rhythm of farm life—our crew feeding and checking on the herd, and the quiet hum of nature all around. It’s a place where you can truly unwind and take in the simple beauty of rural life.
Across the road, our friendly neighbors are an active part of the community, even serving in the local volunteer fire department. Wildlife is abundant, so don’t be surprised if you spot deer grazing nearby or hear the sounds of birds and other animals as you enjoy your stay.
While our farm feels like a secluded retreat, we’re conveniently close to Hermitage Springs, where you’ll find an Ace Hardware, gas station, restaurants, and a Dollar General for any essentials you may need. Whether you’re here to experience farm life, relax in the peaceful countryside, or explore the area, we hope you love it as much as we do!
