The house itself was clean and cozy, just as listed. Very cute. The upkeep outside was not a standard. The hot tub was not working. The pool was dirty. The front with the fountain was important condition. I was even concerned that the pumps for the pool and the fountain would burn up. We left a day early as we were planning to enjoy the outside part of the property. Sadly disappointed!

It was great. Perfect for a 4 person ladies trip. We spent time in the hot tub and enjoyed the screened in porch. The house was very clean and well stocked. I would definitely recommend the Hippie Pickle

This property was exactly as described in the listing. We loved it! And it was so close to shops and restaurants that we parked our car and walked where we needed to go. We went for a company retreat and the space was perfect. So many areas of the house and property where we could sit and discuss and also have some down time to ourselves. And the kitchen was great for eat-in breakfasts and coffee/tea. Really well stocked with appliances, utensils, etc.And the host was extremely responsive when I didn't get an email from VRBO about our check in code for the key. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great stay in Wimberley

We've visited Wimberley many times over the years, however this unique property made the visit special. Quiet & with a fantastic garden yet within easy walk of the downtown area. Definitely to be recommended.

It was a wonderful stay. The house was big & the patios to relax were wonderful to relax. The location was further away than indicated from the square & the inside of the house was very dark.I would highly recommend it for parties & large groups.

They need to update their "check-in" instructions ( we were told the keys opened the wrong door - kept us from being abel to get in for over an hour) and there was a miscommunication with cleaning crew - had not been cleaned when we finally DID get into the house. However, the host was very responsive - in spite of being in Australia - and the cleaners were in and out in about 90 minutes, Another hiccup - the refrigerator switched itself off for some reason. We stashed our cold stuff in it before leaving to let the cleaners do their work, and when we returned, it was OFF. Freezer worked, but fridge not cool. We put stuff back in coolers with ice, and the next morning, the refrigerator was back on, and cold, so - not sure what happened. However, the owner was very accommodating ( called and texted consistently) and we WERE compensated for our trouble, so what was a "rough start" did not keep us from thoroughly enjoying the property. It is very cute, GREAT eclectic decor, beds were very comfortable, bathrooms lovely, kitchen well-appointed - carpets in living area DO need to be shampooed. It was incredibly hot outside, and the "cowboy pool" was pretty warm, but we enjoyed it later, after dark. We did not make use of the hot tub (for obvious reasons), but the yard and hot tub area and front deck are all nice ( although the pool deck could use some stairs to get up on, and the wooden tables and chairs are pretty "weathered"). We had fun, and owners are great - :)

Just a fantastic getaway! Very cozy, accommodating, and relaxing. Highly recommend . Always lovely to be able to bring your dog. Close to the square and grocery stores. Definitely will return!

Terrific holiday headquarters!

Love this colorful, art-filled property within walking (really!) distance from the shops and restaurants in Wimberley. Everything you could need in the kitchen, books to read, games and puzzles to enjoy, even a scavenger hunt on the property. Beds were extremely comfortable, missed trying the hot tub, but will definitely be back to try it next time.

What a Wonderful Home Close to the Square

We stayed at this property to get married in Driftwood. This home is so eclectic and fun, with great amenities and spacious rooms. We took advantage of the hot tub and the back screened in porch to watch TV. I usually stay in a more remote location around Wimberley, but we needed to be close to a friend who lives there and the Wimberley Square is right down the road. Fantastic stay!

Great weekend in Wimberley

House was really fun and funky. Hot tub and fireplace worked great for our chilly weekend stay. Only ding was that the guidebook that I was sent a couple days prior to check in was for a different property- so we went to the wrong place at first. Had to text to get correct address- but otherwise was a great stay!

AWESOME STAY

House is great with a maze like feel. We all loved it, including our fur babies. Place was clean, well stocked (kitchen stuff, garbage bags, etc), and hosts were very friendly and responded back quickly to questions. We will definitely be back with friends !!!! Dr. Gonzales and C. Nowlin
