Totally renovated house and kept absolutely clean with the water view decks, and the Jacuzzi on the deck at the rear of the house

Enjoy the Jacuzzi after the long day at the beach. There is out side shower with hot water for your family. Outdoor Grill.
Quiet water view on the upstairs deck, and enjoy the walk down to the community dock. You can have the some water activities such as crabbing and kayaking. ( The boat access is not possible but kayaking are permited)

Beautiful Home

Home is stunning on the inside, very roomy for a large family. Love the outside shower with hot water! Kids loved fishing and crabbing on the dock. Very clean and well stocked when we arrived.

'22 Vacay

The house was perfect. Nicely done with 5 bedrooms and plenty of room for 10 people. Bethany Beach and Ocean City easily drive from the house. Great sunsets over the Bay across the street.

Amazing Family Vacation

This was the best family vacation we had in awhile. The house was BEAUTIFUL.Loved all the decks and the bathroom showers were beautiful!!! HOT TUB was so RELAXING!!! Location was great. We were able to go to the beach during the day and relax on the docks and home at night. EVERYTHING was perfect!

Bethany Getaway

Could not have been easier to pull off a last minute beach getaway before school started. The house was newly renovated and had plenty of bedrooms. Access to the bay was a short walk and there was easy access to the beach and nearby amenities. Jean is a terrific host. House was clean, with plenty of linens. . Thanks for a great stay!

Making the best of things

My husband and I, our two sons, one daughter-in-law and two grandchildren were staying in the house. The house came with two kayaks and we rented additional ones. The house provided crab traps, which I specifically wanted since I grew up in that area and wanted the grandkids to experience. We were told by the owner we were 3 houses in from the dock, easy to launch the kayaks. Not so. We clocked it and the house was 1/4 mile from the dock. We got pushback from the owner re use of the crab traps but we used them anyway because that was one of the main reasons for being there. My husband is 80 and I’m 75. The listing showed an elevator as one of the amenities but the owner wouldn’t let us use it. There was no corkscrew, can opener, rubber spatulas, utensils for eating crabs, some of the fry pans had chipping Teflon, and limited glass glasses. The jets on the hot tub didn’t function. However, by the the biggest problem was the freezer didn’t work and the ice maker didn’t work! Seven of us in the house for one week with no ice and no freezer and the temps were in the 90s during the the day!! We had gone shopping and bought lots of ice cream and frozen foods to fix for the kids that all had to be thrown out! But we were determined to have a good time and did but the conditions were ridiculous and not as advertised. I deserve a partial refund.

Excellent vacation spot in quiet neighborhood in Ocean View / Bethany Beach, Delaware area

Host Jean Lee was easy to communicate and responsive - beautifully appointed home with upper deck with four Adirondack chairs for taking in the fresh breeze and sunset, jacuzzi tub on back deck, ping pong table, beautiful and large interior, two bedrooms with king beds, and a nicely appointed fire pit out front for evening gathering with my friends. Would definitely rent this home again.

Beautiful location

This was a beautiful location. Plenty of room for my family of 4, a family of 2 and a family of 3. The upstairs railing on the roof was a little too wobbly for our liking, but otherwise a very nice stay. Thank you for your prompt responses and information about the area!

Great two family place to stay in Bethany!

Two bedrooms with kings on the first floor, three other bedrooms - two with full beds and one with a twin and a day bed for a total of three twins. The fulls are on the second floor. A king room shares a master bath (with a nice oversized shower) with the twin beds room. A full bath behind the garage is usable by the other king room. The two full bedrooms share a full bath on the second floor. The kitchen / living room is on the second floor. The ground floor outdoor shower helped out for our group to get ready to go out at night. The 2 single kayaks are a nice touch and you can walk them down to the water. A fire pit offered a great way to gather outdoors at night. The hot tub on the deck in the back of the house off the second floor was also a nice touch - but it can really only fit 3 adults comfortably. The roof top deck accessible by a spiral staircase was a nice place to have a morning cup of coffee and watch the sunrise. The kitchen / dining area was able to accommodate our group of 10. It was hot when we were there and the central air conditioning with two additional minisplit units kept up fine.

Well equipped, great location!

Clean, spacious, nicely updated home. Jean was very responsive and a great host. Had the most equipment of any rental we have stayed in - hot tub, kayaks, linens and more, all included. Close to the water and a short drive from many beaches. Note that the two king bedrooms are connected by a single shared bathroom - not great for privacy if there are two adult couples (we had two couples and six kids age 4-9). The upstairs bedrooms are small and adjacent to the living areas. Other than the layout, the house was great and we had wonderful stay. Thanks!

Very nice stay but would not rent again.

Nice home, but issues that impacted our stay. We will not rent again. -Garbage was never picked up from previous guests. It was 90 degrees the week we were there and it smelled awful every time we went outside for our ENTIRE STAY. Tried to contact owner. Was never picked up. -Sand on floors upon check in and in tons in the hot tub. Contacted owner about sand in hot tub- Never heard back. We should not be held responsible to clean up after previous guests. -TWO completely empty propane tanks that were not filled before our arrival. This SHOULD of been filled prior not the entering renters responsibility to fill. We were attempting to grill our first meal and very disappointing to have no propane and no place open until the following day to fill. Had to last minute put steaks on frying pan. Made for a awful dinner. For the price of the rental they should compensate for propane OR have their cleaning crew make sure there is a full tank.

I am so sorry about the issues you had with your stay. The waste company Bluehen somehow missed the pick up garbage pickup due to the July 4th weekend holiday. I have called for the extra pick up but they could not guarantee the extra pick up. I have spend whole afternoon trying to find the private garbage pickup services and left more than 10 messages to the different service providers. Only one service Bowen Removal responded. He was to come by in two days but he had a death in his family and ended up coming on Saturday after your departure. I have sent you multiple messages to you regarding my trial and difficulties for the extra garbage pickup. For the Spa service regarding sands I have contacted my spa service and they came out the following week. They are so busy during the peak season at the beach and especially with partical lockdown, we have to usually 3-4 weeks for them to come out. There were some sands in the Jacuzzi but the tub was still clean and you said you used the tub. For the sand on the floor on your arrival I was about to ask the cleaning service to come back out. Yet you said it was near the entrance and cleaning service was not necessary and told me not to call them back. As for the gas in the grill, the Guest letter states specifically to fill the gas tank as needed. The grill is provided but the gas usage is so different depending on the guests. Sometime gas tank gets left open and it is impossible to tell when to fill the gas tank. I have provided two tanks so guests can fill them easily around the corner from the house. I have spent many hours trying to solve problem and left numerous messages regarding these issues. It is impossible to find the service providers in a peak summer season at the beach who will response over night when the problem happens. The turn around time for everything this year with lock down has been very long for any services. I am so sorry about the troubles you had. Sincerely

Great time by the bay!!!

Stayed here with my family, my brother’s family, and my Dad. We had a great time! Lovely, comfortable home by the bay. We enjoyed using the owner’s crab pots off of the community dock and we’re surprised by our great catch. The kayaks were wonderful, too. Lots of beautiful birds including an Osprey. Fabulous grocery store close by meant we cooked almost every night. If you have a family member with mobility issues, you may want to make arrangements to use the elevator in advance. But all in all a really fabulous family vacation!!!

Excellent location and supper neat and clean property

Let us start by saying that this house was a hidden gem stocked with everything you can imagine needed for a great beach vacation. Not only the location was great and close to everything, the house was spacious, modern, supper clean and had everything needed from kitchen pots and supplies to plenty of towels, linings , games, and movies. Although we had a little indecent with Some of the neighbors by the Bay Area as they sought we are stealing their crabs and were very rude and over reacted while we were watching the crab nets at the nearby bay area, everything else was perfect and the host was very accommodating to our needs and was supper flexible and available through texting and/or calling whenever we needed her help. Overall, our trip and stay at this property was fun, pleasant and exceeded all of our expectations. Thank you Jean, we will definitely come back.

Great place, lots of space, perfect for family with young kids.

Great place. Plenty of space. Nice and quiet block. We had a great time bringing the kids down to the bay to kayak and go crabbing. Also a short drive to the beach and close to shopping. This location had everything to make it an excellent vacation.

Spacious house outside with plenty of bathrooms

We enjoyed our week at this house and especially liked the space and 3 1/2 bathrooms! There was plenty of room and privacy for 4 adults and 2 children and it is a very short drive to Bethany Beach. There is a nice large table for our whole group to eat meals together and even a small game table that we used a few nights. On the downside, we had to contact the owner because the house had sand throughout it when we arrived. It was quickly corrected and the owner sent a cleaning crew out right away. I did feel that it should have been done before we arrived, however. The owner leaves plenty of beach gear and even kayaks to use which is very considerate. The only thing the house is missing is an outdoor shower which would have been very helpful after days at the beach to keep from getting all the sand in the house.

Great Property

Very nice property, well maintained and recently renovated, in a great location, a very short walk to the bay (great kayaking) and a short drive to the beach, boardwalk and restaurants. Nice front porch, screened porch in the back and two elevated decks and a hot tub for relaxing. We had a wonderful time.

Amazing!!!

We simply loved our time in Bethany. The house was immaculate and had all the amenities we wanted and then some. We were away from the "busy" downtown area but close enough to get what we needed quickly. We hope to make coming here an annual tradition!

A great vacation!

The house was immaculate! Having the hot tub and kayaks added some extra fun things to do. Plenty of room for 8 people. I would highly recommend it! The owner was very accommodating and had some great suggestions to make our stay even more perfect. We loved going to the State Park Beach which was right down the street. Great way to get away from the crowds.
