Location was very private and peaceful. The views in posting are not accurate, trees block views. The cabin is nice, but needs many things fixed in it.
We had such an amazing stay with beautiful views offered at this cabin and great amenities we loved the pool table and hot tub. It was very close to gatlinburg we only had to take a 10-15 min drive to be at wonderful restaurants and places to visit. The cabin itself is gorgeous, spacious and overall a great place to stay. The hosts are very wonderful with communication prior to and during visit.
Our first time in the mountains and first time staying in the cabin. The place was beautiful and so amazing! It was so relaxing just sitting in the cabin and relaxing and the peace and quiet. The view was so amazing too! Definitely will be back!
We had a great stay at the Majestic View Cabin! It was conveniently close to town, yet tucked away and private. Everything was clean, and the views were beautiful! I was looking forward to using the fireplace which I guess doesn't work this time of year so that was the only bummer but I would absolutely visit again!
Very nice cabin in a great location. The ONLY reason this is a 4 instead of a 5 is the view was not great. It might be better in the winter when there is less foliage on the trees.
Property was an excellent choice for us. Off the beaten path and away from the crowds in town.
Cozy lil cabin that would be great anytime of the year. Everything was as expected with the exception of one thing. From the back deck, chairs and hot tub, the mountains are not visible as shown in pictures on the vrbo listing. This may be different in the fall/winter when the foliage is gone. 4.9 stars
My family and I have vacationed in Gatlinburg for many years. Majestic View, by far, had an amazing view. The cabin is very close to Downtown Gatlinburg...no more than an 8-10 minute drive from Downtown to driveway.
The route to the cabin is fairly simple. We traveled to it in daylight, so we weren't surprised by anything. The road the cabin is on has a tricky entrance, but drive it once and you learn how to enter and exit.
The cabin itself is very clean. I had no need to tidy it up myself before we settled in. The bed was comfortable and so was the living room furniture. We ate out our entire trip, but the kitchen looked useful for a small family.
The hot tub was nice on a cool afternoon and the rocking chairs on the deck were relaxing to lounge in.
I'm leaving 4 stars due to an issue we had at night that I did report. We heard what we thought to be mice every night...in the ceiling and walls. The noises we heard every night woke us up...every night. When I reported that to management, I was told it was "flying squirrels". Now we've never experienced these so-called squirrels before, but have experienced mice and the noises and activities we heard nightly sounded like mice...the scurrying, the constant back and forth, the baby's crying for food...it was so loud we thought the animals were right next to us. We would stay in this cabin again if the rodent issue, whether it be squirrel or mice, was addressed and taken care of!
Both bathroom doors need attention (squeak, drag and do not shut. We had an issue with both hot tube and jacuzzi but management jump right on it. Management seem very helpful and friendly.
Beautiful surroundings, very clean, well kept and very friendly owners

Nice cabin
Over all our stay was adequate. Very rustic. No garbage can cage, so as we learned the first night, you will get a visit from the local bear. View pictures are a little out dated as the trees need to be trimmed to see the Mountain View unless your upstairs. Wifi works excellent. We have stayed in cabins for the last five years, and this was definitely the most challenging to get to. Driveway “is truly hidden” high center hazard for little low cars, and first trip in we backed in off the road to use backup camera to see driveway. After first trip in and if you trust your leap of faith, you’ll drive in forward if careful. Polite management to work with. Worth every penny for an inexpensive stay, you get what you paid for.
