St Regis 2107

I’ll start by saying we loved Topsail, very family friendly and safe. Now, the stay left quite a bit to be desired. When we arrive the condo was filthy, dirt all over the floors, food left in the refrigerator from previous guests, dishwasher full of dirty dishes and smelly water. Called Vacasa, zero help. None of the remotes worked for the televisions, called Vacasa- no help again. Wi-fi was terrible, very little phone service in the condo. St Regis itself was pretty nice, cute ice cream shop, lunch options at the pool, plenty of parking, nice beach area. I will not book a other prom through Vacasa, but we will definitely return to Topsail.

Arrival

We picked up our keys and were told the property was ready. When we arrived at the unit there were no sheets on the beds or towels in the bathroom. Nothing had been cleaned. Whoever was in the condo before us left a lot of their things on the counters and in the bathrooms. It took four phone calls before we had someone pay attention to our request to have someone come clean. Finally the cleaning service came but by that time it was late in the evening and we did not get settled into our unit until 9:30 at night. We were not happy with the response from the property people. However, once the cleaning was done we had a wonderful time since it was a family wedding. The unit itself is very nice and we were pleased with that.
