A year round wonderland! Come for the cozy winter get away and stay for the ice fishing, groomed snow shoe/cross country trails, ATV trails, etc. Unwind after a wintery day outdoors with a fire in the woodstove, or a big bon fire, while cooking the days catch. Enjoy coffee on the balcony off the master in the morning, or star gazing in the same spot at night. In summer enjoy sunset paddle boards, and long beach days. Unwind by the fire after exploring the hiking trails near by, or taking in a round of golf in Lundar. Easy day trip to Steeprock MB.

Our stay was great. We were in area for a family wedding. Cabin and location were close to wedding. Cabin was clean and fully stocked with what we needed. Would reccommend staying again.

Sugarpoint cottage
Very clean and well organized cottage with amazing views! The red chairs welcoming and relaxing! Nice fluffy white towels, water supplies and an ice machine! Bocci balls and firewood too! Hosts very responsive!

Sugar Point Vacation
The Sugar Point vacation was wonderful.
The property is very well maintained and the owners are very responsive to any questions.
The area was quiet. There are always birds out in the rocks to watch. The Eagle would come by everyday to check out the area.
It was a quick trip to Lundar Beach for a sandy beach area.
Would definitely recommend this place for a quiet getaway.

Quiet, Comfortable, clean, nicely decorated with lots of little extras.
Nice view of the Lake and its stunning sunsets. Enjoyed the view from the upper deck. Behind the house and access road is a canal that has been dug through the marsh, where I watched a couple of muskrats swimming and a few ducks. Many Canada Goose were flying in formation, either practicing for their migration or going to join the hundreds of others amassing in a farmer's grain field near Lundar.

sugar point cabin review
The owners are excellent at communicating and responding fast to requests or any questions asked. They also have a wonderful cabin that is incredibly well maintained and has everything one can think of! (i didn’t need to bring a lot of stuff i ended up bringing!!) it’s also beautiful, very clean, and very nicely renovated with a gorgeous view from the balcony and lots of space for sleeping and socializing! My family loved it and we will surely come back - the one downside is the no wifi (although a request has been made to consider adding that option) and the beach in front is not swimmable as far as we are concerned so we had to drive to the nearby lundar beach - close enough. it was cold however so in any case going into the water was super limited - overall a wonderful cabin and more wonderful and super friendly owners!

We were looking to rent a cottage not buy however when this property came available it was hard to pass up. Growing up Marnie traveled to Gimli many summers and winters with friends of the family to their cottage. These same friends children now own a spot four doors down from Decks Den. What makes this property unique
We have taken some time to add extras to make our stay memorable and comfortable. There is the mini coffee nook upstairs - make coffee and head straight out to the balcony to watch the pelicans and many other birds and wild life. Kids will love the lounge swing outside the lakeside door, while you recline in zero gravity chairs.
