Stay
As we were staying at the home, they came out with a third night free, while we were there. Called them and talked about a refund for our third night, the answer was a solid NO, so we will not be staying there again, we were planning on doings this yearly, but not in this home.

Beautiful cottage. It is not mentioned in the listing that it is in a trailer park. I didn’t receive the instructions I was to receive for entry etc. the email said I would get instruction 7-10 days prior. I tried to contact the host with no response. I had to contact VRBO admin to get instruction sent. While on vacation there I tried to contact the host through VRBO and at the phone number and the email address in the “instruction binder”. No response until I was leaving. Very poor communication.

Beautiful mountain cabin
Or group of 6 found comfort after long days of exploring the mountains. House was well equipped, and very clean. Linens were great quality. The kids loved the air hockey table. We’d definitely stay there again. Thanks for sharing your piece of paradise!

Nice cottage, unfortunate location
Nicely maintained cottage with a good kitchen that came with some basic supplies such as coffee, cooking oil. Much appreciated! The cottage advertises it can sleep 9 but beware, that includes a pull-out couch in the main floor open concept space which includes the kitchen. The location was disappointing as we hadn't understood from the photo that it's between large trailers in a private community that includes many trailers and cabins. The place is nice but the feeling is cramped.

Why they chose this property

My wife and I have been visiting the Columbia Valley for several years now and love the warmer weather, the incredibly friendly locals and the endless activities that are available. We thought it would be great to have a place to enjoy with our own friends and family that is only within a 2 3/4 hour drive from Calgary. Our hope is that those interested in spending a weekend or week in our home, would find some needed rest, relaxation, adventure and feel as though they have had a holiday to remember as we do every time we visit!

What makes this property unique

Once arrived and settled in, my husband and I love to sit on the back deck in our cottage chairs with a cup of coffee or cocoa, watching the sun set, the crickets chirp and gazing out into the forest where we might catch a glimpse of a deer or pheasant or watch the many birds at the feeders. At night we love to gaze at the stars through the skylight from our comfortable Beautyrest pillowtop mattress in the master bedroom, then waking in the morning to see the sun filtering through the forest out the back window or the mountain views out the bedroom's Juliet balcony. Grabbing a cup of our exclusive Cobblestone Creek coffee blend and sitting by the fireplace or on the front deck enjoying the morning sun is a perfect way to start our day.
