Quaint Old Colonial Home in Pretty Marsh-Just Like Grandma's

The Pretty Marsh house was built in 1885 and features 4 bedrooms (sleeps up to 7), 2 baths, full kitchen and a cozy attached barn that makes for a wonderful playroom. Each room is tastefully decorated with antique furniture and plenty of original artwork. Just a short walk to the ocean & lakes are a bike ride away.
The Pretty Marsh House is owned and managed locally - we live right here on the island. You will not be dealing with a rental agent or absentee owner. Please feel free to contact us with any questions prior to booking.
Amenities: Cable TV, VCR, DVD, WIFI, microwave, gas grill, all cooking utensils, board games, books, videos, bedding, towels, extra blankets, pillows.
Activities: Swimming, hiking, mountain climbing, kayaking, canoeing, whale watching, nature tours, sunset cruises, golf, glider rides, oceanariums, zoo, lumberjack show, go-carts, waterslide.
Area: Located in beautiful Pretty Marsh on the quiet side of Mt Desert Island, the Pretty Marsh House is walking distance to the ocean and a short distance to all the great attractions of the Acadia area. Close to Acadia National Park, Cadillac Mountain, and Somes Sound and of course downtown Bar Harbor. Only a 20 minute drive to the city of Ellsworth and about 10 minutes to the Hancock county airport.
