Very nice property plenty of room

Very clean and updated home. Master bedroom was amazing! Kitchen had all the supplies we needed to cook for the week and the location was great! Make sure you bring your own beach chairs and goodies!

Good location, nice house

We stayed in August - and it was HOT! The ocean was HOT and the pool was HOT! Even the cold water coming out of the tap was HOT! The air conditioning worked great so the house was comfortable. When we first arrived there were a lot of flying ants in the house, but a few days later I believe the house was treated and they disappeared. I agree with others that you definitely can tell that dogs are allowed - there is noticeable dog hair around. The cleaners do an average to below average job. The outside grill is spectacular - we loved it, nice grill. The twin and queen size beds weren't very comfortable and were a bit noisy. The king size was comfortable. There were 7 of us plus a small toddler and we fit comfortably. Since you will be staying a week you will want to pack an extra dish cloth, dish towels (you get one towel and one sponge), kitchen garbage bags, DW detergent, toilet paper, pens/paper, forks, V style coffee filters, personal items. Kitchen was well stocked. I thought there were plenty of towels, especially since you can wash them. We left some pool toys behind. Location is good, beach access is easy. We love Cape San Blas, definitely a relaxing vacation. Enjoyed our time and will be back, even though it was very HOT.

Great location, very buggy !

Great location! Short walk to beach! Pool landscape was horrible! Sand, dead leaves, thistle and stumps. Tons of ants! The inside of the house was cute and beachy ! But flying bugs took over! Couldn’t sleep in downstairs bedroom! Maybe it’s a Florida thing! Property management company told to get exterminators!

Great location. Needs a few items addressed.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This would be a 5* property if a few things were corrected by the management company. It is perfect location. 1. Cleanliness. Home allows pets for a non refundable fee (I'm assuming of extra cleaning), but there was pet hair all over the floor which is gross with a 1yr old crawling on the floor. Every time we swept crumbs around the table there was dog hair in the pan. Dog hair was also visible on the white sofa.2. Heated pool. Pool thermostat has a padlocked plate over it. You are instructed to call maintenance if you need it adjusted. Good luck getting them to answer phone or return voice message to check pool heater. Maybe if staffing Is an issue you should just unlock the thermostat for paying customers.3. Kitchen. Whenever I go to CSB I just plan on cooking most nights due to the lack of restaurants. The kitchen is to the point it needs to be re-inventoried as is was missing items such as liquid measuring cups and a full set of measure spoons. The oven mitt had holes so you had to be careful not to burn your hand. The pans were either warped or had Teflon scraped off. I think If you are going to provide the cheapest option for cookware it should be refreshed more often.So maybe I'd give this property a shot next time, but it wouldn't be my first choice unless I know these things were addressed.
