Summary:
Welcome to our mermaid themed apartment that sits right on McKay Bay with amazing water views. This 1/1 is right across the street from the water, so bring your fishing poles! This home is designed to emulate the style of a mermaid on land. Make sure to keep an eye out for the mermaids hidden in the artwork, hand painted by us! The home is just minutes from Downtown Tampa, Ybor City, Channelside, etc.

The Space:
The space is coastal themed since its right across from McKay bay. If you’re into fishing, I’d recommend bringing fishing poles to enjoy fishing just outside your apartment. Fun pops of color and decor help you to feel like you’re enjoying a fun beach themed vacation! Guest Access:
Guests will have full access to the 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment which has a full kitchen and a pull out couch. There’s a front porch with gorgeous views of McKay bay!

The Neighborhood:
Palmetto Beach, Tampa is a fun up and coming historical industrial neighborhood. It sits right on McKay Bay and is a small waterfront hidden gem of Tampa. Even as a Tampa resident I lived here many years and didn’t know Palmetto Beach even existed. It’s on its own little peninsula just off of Downtown Tampa that not a lot of people know about. But in an exploding Real Estate market, lately it’s quickly been gaining steam and popularity for its beautiful water views. If you walk along the water it’ll eventually lead you to a large city park (Desoto Park) which has a gazebo, playgrounds, skatepark and a public swimming pool that is a few dollars to get in. Most likely when you tell other Tampa Residents you’re staying in Palmetto Beach they won’t even know where it is! We like to try to keep it Tampa’s best kept secret for as long as we can!

Getting Around:
Uber, lift, rental car or even city scooters (which can be found in the area).

Other Things to Note:
This home sits just minutes to everything in and around Tampa. You’ll be less than five minutes drive to everything Downtown and Ybor has to offer while being right on the water.

Waterfront Fisherman's Dream

This place was super cute, property management was super informative. They actually delt with a flood a few days prior to stay. The furniture needed to be replaced, refrigerator, and water heater; we had no clue (found out by cleaning team). The location was great, we woke up early and fished in the early mornings before we went out on boat and when we came home in the evening. We were less than 5-minute drive to main strip of Ybor City, Restaurants, shops, etc. We will come back. Overall great experience
