Historic 1940's Beach Cottage, steps to the beach!

This 3br 2bth sleeps 8! Fully equipped and just 30 seconds from walking over the dunes and on to the beach. Close to restaurants, surf shops etc. Please read our many excellent reviews! Heated oversized spa in backyard allows pool like/spa relaxation after the beach. Roof top deck over looking the Atlantic ocean. Look for off season specials. June and July are Saturday to Saturday 1 week rentals. All other months are flexible.

This cute house was very clean and only 1 minute walk to the beach. We very much enjoyed the hot tub after a swim and in the evening. The host promptly answered any questions we had and was very nice. Altogether a great experience in this adorable and relaxing getaway

We loved our stay at the beach cottage this fall break! The walk to the beach was quick and beautiful (just watch out for burrs!), and the rooftop deck was perfect for watching the sunrise and looking at stars. The hot tub was perfect as the nights got chillier, and Todd was quick to respond and attentive to needs. Overall, this was just a great experience for us. We especially loved the access to bikes and beach toys and had fun walking around the corner to the sugar shack for ice cream. We highly recommend this property!

The house is very quaint with nice porch and roof top deck with nice view of the ocean. Short walk to the beach and lighthouse. The house had everything we needed, including washer and dryer, close to very good retaurants, and very comfortable. We loved it!

Wonderful location

From the front door it's just steps to the beach on one side and multiple restaurants on the other. It's a small house but all we needed with plenty of sleeping areas, hot tub and an upper deck with great views of the ocean.

This little cottage has everything we needed. It could use a little TLC but the charm and convenience more than makes up for that. The owner was responsive and helpful.

Cozy cottage in great location

Todd’s cottage is just as described, lots of charm, well stocked with kitchen equipment, beach toys, bikes and linens. The location was great, just a few steps to the beach and short walk to restaurants and shops. Communication was very easy, we appreciated Todd’s help in finding us a weekend for our quick family getaway.

Perfect stay!

This was a perfect spot for my husband and I to relax. Close to the beach, super cozy, and so much to do in walking distance. Todd was super quick to answer any questions. Check in and check out super easy. Would love to visit again!

Quaint cottage

Really close to the beach! Our family of 5 adults were snug but fine. Wish the doors had curtains, not blinds. Missed the dishwasher a little but we used a lot of paper plates and such. Got locked out (our fault) but Todd was quick to help! Excellent service!

Great ‘galentines’ trip

This cottage was exactly as advertised, plus more with the awesome brand new, large hot tub!! We felt right at home, 3 of us worked from this location using WiFi at the same time, with no issues! Todd was awesome and very responsive to all communication. You are literally steps from the beach! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again, just do it, you won’t be disappointed!! 👍🏼

Cozy, fun little beach cottage

Todd's place is funky little house with great beach access and wonderful extras, like a roof-top deck, a deluxe spa, fire pit, and all of the beach gear you might need, including well-maintained bicycles, a wagon for beach gear, plenty of chairs, and a beach umbrella. The kitchen is basic but completely serviceable (no dishwasher in this vintage galley kitchen). The beds were really comfortable. We were also able to bring our little dog for an extra fee ($100), which we really appreciated. Great character and charm in general, and excellent communication with our conscientious host! We really loved our stay with our two adult sons, who also enjoyed the space. We would return in a heartbeat!

In a snap

Kudos to the owner who had to quickly adjust because a harsh cold snap effected the plumbing and impacted our first check in date. The property owner immediately contacted me and put us up in an exclusive hotel in downtown Savannah. We got to the cottage the next day and all plumbing had been repaired. Despite the holiday time period. The cottage was exactly as advertised and quite quaint with tropical decor. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and had plenty of towels to use for it and the beach. The beach is accessible by a short walk and there is a convenience store across the street. I would recommend that a lock box,key hide, or combo lock in door be used for a more secure check in. Also update welcome mats with a sturdy foot/shoe scrub to avoid tracking in any outside elements. We slept 4 comfortably 2 in full size bed and two kids in twin beds br. There was room for 4 more (two in another full bed) and two on pull out couch. It would have been cramped in the kitchen. Besides the front bedroom is not ideal for a small child, so we opted to not use it. In a snap, this cottage gave us all the charm that Tybee has to offer. Thank you, Todd for making us feel welcome.

This 1940s beach house was such a cozy and nostalgic stay—it truly felt like stepping back into simpler times. My children walked in and immediately said, “This feels like Nana’s house,” which perfectly captured the charm. Unlike so many rentals that are overly modern, sterile, and monochromatic, this home stands out for its warmth and character. Staying here felt like visiting grandma’s house by the sea, and that made this family vacation so much more rewarding. We did not take the bikes off the property but would've loved taking a bike ride down the strip.

Minutes to the beautiful beach. Cozy cottage. Quiet street. Kitchen needs to be stocked better. No wine glasses. Few drinking glasses. The electric stove is antiquated and stove top coils hard to cook on. Two did not heat up well. Overall nice experience and the rooftop deck was a nice plus. Todd had the place clean and ready to go. Bring extra toilet paper-LOL. OVERALL A RATING. WE WOULD RENT AGAIN

This little house is great! Clean and comfy with everything we needed. There were 5 adults and we all loved it. Perfect location. Beach just steps away, hot tub, crows nest to watch the full moon! Anything you need close by. Hosts were great with communication. I would absolutely recommend to anyone and trust me....we will be back here soon!!!!!

Great vacation cottage, very well kept and clean. The owner was very responsive to questions, answering in under 10 minutes. Loved the back patio and outdoor shower, and the deck had an ocean view where you could see container ships coming in and out. Would definitely stay again!

Why they chose this property

We are only a few seconds walk over the dunes and on to the beach. Awesome location. We have 3 restaurants within 1 minute walking. The ice cream, convenient store and liquor store are also across the street. Sugar Shack is right behind us!
