About this property

Lakeside Living w\sandy beach, gas fireplace -easy 25 minute commute to Portland

Enjoy swimming, boating, ice skating or ice fishing but get outside to enjoy the large deck, lake and large yard. When inside the large windows will make you feel like you are still outside so you can enjoy the views while you get cozy by the fire or cook in the fully furnished kitchen. Get a great night sleep in a comfortable bed after enjoying a show on the SMART TV. Take a walk or run around the lake which is exactly a 5k or walk over to Libby Hill trails. We have a Hannaford, Chinese restaurant, and Gas Station with a deli and pizza within walking distance. Windham is only about a 12 minute drive with lots of restaurants, shopping, etc. One of our favorite places to visit is Pineland Farms which is only ten minutes away. They have a great market\cafe and offer farm tours and outdoor activities for all seasons. This is a 4 Unit Townhouse Style Property but Unit 1 is very large with a private deck and fire pit. 3 smaller units have friendly year round tenants that you may see occasionally in the large yard or beach and dock areas.

Wonderful stay at this lakeside home. Private dock and watercraft provided. Right across the highway from the Main Wilderness Park, a state developed and maintained zoo of local wildlife (raccoons, porcupines, eagles, bobcats, etc.). The two twin beds are trundle (we couldn't find the second bed!). The only downside of the property is that it is directly on a two-lane highway that gets a lot of noisy traffic during the day. So sitting on the deck overlooking the lake is not very peaceful. Otherwise it was great.

What a fabulous trip we had! Property is so nice and was very clean and equipped. Fresh towels, dinnerware, tupperware, coffee, tissues, trash bags, etc. All of those things you need in a home away from home. Right on the lake with a nice fishing dock, a wonderful deck partially shaded with trees so you can sun bath and chill in the shade. The Adirondack chairs on the porches and around the fire pits were also amazing. There was some technical difficulty with the water pressure due to a leak in the line from the city that was repaired but that was out of anyone's control and the owner worked quick to repair the issue. We are definitely planning on booking this home in the future. Was such a relaxing trip and a pleasurable stay.

Family Easter visit

We had a wonderful stay in Gray, we were visiting family in the area. The home was clean and the kitchen well stocked. Beautiful view of the beach and plenty of space for our family visit.

We had a lovely stay at Joan’s lakeside home. The place was roomy and exceptionally clean and very well stocked when it came to kitchen items, towels, games, etc… The grounds are expansive and the views of the lake are magical. We have family just down the road and the location could not have been better. We look forward to returning next year!

Relaxing stay

Great place to getaway from the hustle and bustle but still be close enough to go to Portland and experience the seafood and dining. The place was very clean and the host was top notch. The listing photos are accurate and everyone was very friendly. Stay here you won't be disappointed.

Perfect Wedding Location

Celebrated a family wedding at nearby venue. This was a beautiful, pet friendly condo with gorgeous view of the lake! There was traffic noise from the main road, but ample parking in site, as well as outdoor space with seating and dining.
