Great location!
This is a great location for any activities in Calgary. It is within easy walking distance to restaurants and shopping on 4th Street, and the Elbow River and Stanley Park are nearby. Access to McLeod Trail (one of the main Calgary roads) is quick and easy. The space is very clean, nicely decorated, and well laid-out for a family with kids. It's full of natural light. There is onsite parking. Please note that there are quite a few stairs (especially to the front entrance), so it may be difficult for those with mobility issues. I was accommodating a large family group with different arrival/departure days. I rented the downstairs unit as well, and loved the option to connect the two spaces. Both units have their own secure entrances, but can connect via the shared laundry room. This was very convenient for us, as our large group (5 adults and 5 children total) could stay together. I was impressed with communication at booking, and quickly had my questions answered. Early in our stay, however, a message about the beds went unanswered. The beds were very hard for our tastes, and I brought in my own thick mattress pads after the first night. We also found the space very stuffy on warm days (early June) and I purchased a few stand fans to help us cool off. The comfort of future guests could be greatly improved with upgraded mattresses, the addition of fans (ceiling fans, if possible), and better responsiveness during the stay.
