Located at the southern end of Marathon near the base of the world-famous Historic 7 Mile Bridge is the prized vacation home “Sea Forever”. From the moment you arrive at the grand entrance you will be captivated and at the same time feel right at home with its Keys inspired decor.

The kitchen is said to be the heart of the home and the heart of Sea Forever is fully stocked and perfect for you to prepare the catch of the day. All dishes, cooking utensils, and appliances are in place including a dishwasher, garbage disposal, coffee maker, stove, microwave, and Maytag double door fridge with bottom freezer. The kitchen makes cooking a breeze with tons of counter space and a glorious view of the open water and 7 Mile Bridge. Off the kitchen is a laundry area with a full-sized washer and dryer and, if so inclined, an iron and ironing board for your convenience.

Open from the kitchen is the living room and dining room with a leather sofa that easily accommodates 10 people. The dining room table sits 8 persons, and there is extra seating in the kitchen for 2 more. There are panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, Gulf of Mexico, and the world-famous 7 Mile Bridge. 
 

The views are just breathtaking, as you eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and the sunsets are unforgettable. This home was designed to accommodate a large group with its open space and tile floors throughout the main living areas. The living room has a large flat screen tv, cable, and wireless internet for your enjoyment.

The master bedroom also has expansive views of the Atlantic, Gulf, and 7 Mile Bridge. There is plush bedding on the King Size bed, a flat screen television, and large closets. The ensuite master bath is complete with his and hers sinks, plenty of cabinet space, a separate stand up shower, a 2-person Jacuzzi tub, and all linens are provided! WOW! From the master bedroom you can step out on to the balcony for fresh air and enjoy the views.

Down the hall is another luxurious bath with a large vanity with his and her sinks, a 2-person Jacuzzi tub, a separate stand up shower, and linens.

Across the hall from this bathroom are 3 spacious bedrooms, all with King size beds, plush bedding, and large closets. Each room is equipped with a flat-screen TV, and cable.

From the living/dining room, you can access the balcony which overlooks the Atlantic, Gulf, 7 Mile Bridge, and your own private free form pool with a deep end. The owners particularly enjoy sitting on the balcony drinking their morning coffee and watching the boats go out for a day of fun on the water, or playing a card game in the afternoon before dinner.

Adjacent to the pool is a covered porch with a bait freezer, ping pong table, dining table with six chairs, and two lounge chairs. There are also two separate grills, one for those who love to use charcoal and one for those who prefer to use gas. The fully fenced in yard is perfect for your pets to enjoy paradise as much as you will.

The dock is available for use and has water, electricity, and a fish cleaning table. You can catch dinner right from the dock or you may enjoy just watching the tarpon and large sea rays as they swim by. If you dock your boat there beware that you are docking on open water, which can get rough at times. We highly recommend you use large bumpers, and extra dock lines to properly secure your boat for these conditions.

You can catch Snapper, Snook, and Tarpon right off the dock and you have easy access to both the Atlantic and the Gulf which is a big plus for boaters. We also are close to the Sombrero Lighthouse which is a great reef for snorkeling.

Imagine fishing right outside your backyard of the seven-mile bridge in Money Channel, as well as, diving for lobsters under the bridge. 

 

This is truly a fisherman`s paradise.

Sunset Grille Information:
You are only seconds away from a wonderful restaurant called the Sunset Grille. They have a community pool, live entertainment, beautiful views, a full menu of food, and an expansive drink selection. On Sunday`s Sunset Grille hosts what we locals call a family day. It is really just an inexpensive way to spend time with your friends and family while hanging by the pool, eating delicious BBQ, Listening to the D.J play music all afternoon while having a nice frosty cocktail overlooking the Atlantic side of the historic 7-mile bridge. Now that`s how we like to spend our Sundays!

Should you notice a boat lift, be advised that it is not for guest use.

Special Reminder: This property has exterior video cameras.

Max occupancy is the number of occupants the City allows and does not guarantee to bed for that number. Please read bed description thoroughly. This home has a maximum occupancy of 10 guests however we do have additional guest fees for parties over 8 in the amount of $15+ tax/night per additional guest, this includes children & infants.

**Please Note** - Construction is occurring at adjacent properties and is, unfortunately, outside of our control. This construction has been started as of February 2023 and this notation will be removed after completion. We do apologize for any inconvenience. 

This home is pet friendly with a non-refundable pet fee of $250+ tax per pet / per week. Cats are not allowed.

Pool heat is available at any time of the year for a fee of $250+ tax per week before the reservation start date. If requested after check-in, additional fees may apply.

"We loved the location of this house! The view is spectacular and the sunsets every night were stunning. We also loved being able to walk to the Sunset Grille. The house itself is comfortable to stay in for 5 adults and the kitchen is well-stocked and conducive to cooking. We especially enjoyed fishing from the dock and caught quite a few keepers to eat - grouper, red fish and snapper - to mention a few. We saw quite a few interesting things from the dock as well - a few barracuda, some dolphins and a 5 ft black tip shark who was very interested in our chum. The beds in each room are very comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious. Loved the giant jacuzzi tubs in each. I would recommend that hair dryers be provided in each bathroom rather than just the one We loved checking out the marathon area and trying some of the restaurants. Coast to Coast pizza is highly recommended. All in all, we had a great stay and would definitely stay at this property again if we return to Marathon again mostly for the view. It really can’t be beat!"

We loved the location of this house! The view is spectacular and the sunsets every night were stunning. We also loved being able to walk to the Sunset Grille. The house itself is comfortable to stay in for 5 adults and the kitchen is well-stocked and conducive to cooking. We especially enjoyed fishing from the dock and caught quite a few keepers to eat - grouper, red fish and snapper - to mention a few. We saw quite a few interesting things from the dock as well - a few barracuda, some dolphins and a 5 ft black tip shark who was very interested in our chum. The beds in each room are very comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious. Loved the giant jacuzzi tubs in each. The view from this house is unbeatable! Perfect spot for fishing. Was great having a restaurant right next door and Isla Bella Diving to the left. Every sunset was different:).

This was a nice house to stay in. Clean, lots of space, needs a little bit of updating but otherwise it was a great house. Coco plum company was always in touch with me and quick to fix any issues. Amazing communication from booking to check out.

Why a 4 star review and not a 5 star
Let me start by saying you are paying for the location and view of this property. If my review was just based on that it would definitely be a 5 star review. You could not get a better view or location in Marathon in my opinion. The restaurant next door was a great addition. We enjoyed happy hour daily! When we arrived at the property, the previous renters never took the trash to the road. All 5 garbage cans were completely full, including 1 that was left poolside. Absolutely no trash bags were used. We had to drag all 5 cans to the road. This was not a good first impression. We enjoyed the ping pong ball table, however, there were only 2 useable paddles. The other 2 were down to the wood and with a party of 4 it was disappointing we couldn’t all play. The pool was very nice, however the cushions for the outdoor furniture need to be replaced. They were not even in useable condition. The house was very spacious. We only had a party of 4 so it was more space than what we needed, with that said, this house only has 2 bathrooms so with a larger party I couldn’t imagine how that would work. There was definitely not enough hot water for 4 people let alone 8. The house needs some attention. It has beautiful furniture throughout but the rest of the house is extremely dated and doesn’t feel loved. The kitchen had a ceiling fan but one of the globes and lightbulb was completely missing. In the hall bath the tile in the shower is in extremely bad condition and there was mold growing on the shower door. In the bedroom we slept in, the mattress needs to be replaced. The water pressure is horrible in the shower and it definitely could use a better shower head. Some of the outlets throughout the house need replaced, you should not get sparks when you plug into them nor should your plug fall out. In the kitchen we had an ant problem. They were everywhere on the counters so we were constantly dealing with them. Check in and check out process was extremely easy. Let me end with this that none of this ruined our vacation, but for the price we paid to rent this home our expectations were set a little higher. Hence why I am giving this a 4 star review. The home really does need some TLC in our opinion.
