The apartment was in excellent condition. It was stocked with everything needed. The hot water snd water pressure were great. Beds and linens clean and comfortable. Walkeable to almost everywhere and plenty of taxi's on the road. Safe and secure, the grounds were well maintained. Overall an excellent apartment that I would stay at again and recommend.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay in Bacalar! Jacqui was very responsive to all our questions, and the condo was in a great location, with only a 10-15 minute walk into the center of town!

Beautiful condo in downtown bacalar

Very nice condo with two king sized beds, both with their own ensuite bathrooms. Highlights were definitely the shared pool, had beautiful gardens all around it and often we had it all to ourselves. In addition, the private terrace was stunning. The only downfalls were that the dishwasher was difficult to use and we ended up having to wash all of our dishes the final day. Also we could have used more supplies such as water, toilet paper, paper towel, etc. The host was lovely and super quick to get a hold of. When we ran out of water, she made sure to get us stocked up right away. Would stay here again and recommend to anyone visiting Bacalar!

Solid Location

Christopher's place is super-nice! We had a very comfortable stay. The rooftop spaces are gorgeous. The pool was nice and clean. It was practically an 11-minute walk to all the places in central Bacalar. Internet speed was enough to load big files so, if you are working remotely, this is a good option. The only part that was a bummer for me was that the washing machine was broken. I wish this was not offered on the listing or that we had been notified. They did try to repair it while we were there. But the repair person didn't show up on the first day (we waited for hours when we needed to move along with our day. When he did show up the next day, it was just an all-day loud situation and they couldn't fix it after all. Besides this, all went well. The hosts were responsive on any messages that we sent.

Amazing Host

We stayed at this beautiful apartment for the first half of our family vacation. The location of the apartment was walking distance to the lagoon and a very short drive to the center of Bacalar. We could’ve walked to the center but had little kids and felt it was easier just to drive. Unfortunately we came during the Alberto tropical storm and really didn’t get to get out and explore as much as we had hoped but we did manage to get in an activity every day we were there. We did a boat tour that was just a 5 minute walk from the apartment and we also drove to Hul-Xa and did some kayaking. The apartment was very clean and they had everything we needed from beach towels to coffee. It slept 6 of us very comfortably and there was more than enough sheets and blankets to accommodate all of us. The host, Jacki was super nice and friendly. She was very quick in responding and even drove one night to us to buy us an iron and drop it off even after we told her it was okay because she was an hour away. She was always ready to assist and make our stay pleasant. Bacalar had a power outage for a few hours due to the storm and Jacki was on top of it keeping us updated. We’ve stayed at many vrbo’s and have never had such an attentive host like Jacki. We will definitely be back. We had a very easy check in and check out. Jacki provided us with a few recommendations prior to our stay. She is absolutely amazing and we can’t wait to come back and stay here again!

Another guest who is un aware that a 4 star rating is detrimental to your rating. No reason why it was a 4bstar and not a 5 star. We have the nicest place I’m aware of in our area…other than a million dollar lake house.

Magnifique condo avec terrasse privée

Super accueil de notre hôte: donne beaucoup d'informations sur les alentours, le condo est grand, les chambres confortables, les photos sont conforment à l'annonce, une terrasse sur le toit privée est disponible et parfaite pour regarder les coucher de soleil: des belles attentions comme fournir de l'eau, du café et thé, ainsi que des glacières afin de garder nos boissons fraiches lors de nos sorties sont un plus: la piscine est petite, mais très propre, les plantes autour de la piscine sont magnifiques et bien entretenues. Le chauffe-eau a brisé lors de notre séjour, et l'hôte est rapidement venu sur place pour nous aider et trouver une solution. Merci Sandra pour ton bel accueil, l'emplacement du condo était IDÉAL, car on pouvait aller à la lagune en moins de 10 minutes à pieds, aller au mercado en moins de 7 minutes, et au centro en moins de 10 minutes... Javier, l'homme à tout faire de la place est très gentil. Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans cet établissement!
