Location, Location

This property was in a great location. Unfortunately that's where it ended for us. We did not feel like the host was responsive (check in instructions 90 min late, no check out instructions). The house is "newer", but absolutely everything is rusty and dirty. We opened the drawers in the bathrooms and kitchen and there was hair and dirt on everything. The fridge had what looks like mold in the door. The master bath shower was full of bugs when we got there, there was dog poop on the deck, and the grill was overly greasy and dirty. We left after the first night and got a hotel for the rest of our stay.

Overall it was good….

Ok so I’m not sure how much of this is the fault of VRBO or the property owner.. i feel that Vrbo needs to make sure that the photos on the listing are up to date. Heres why… Photos show and umbrella covered tabled with 4 chairs on the patio. We arrived to 1 broken rusted bench, one cobweb covered lawn chair, and another chair in the corner that was surrounded by spider webs. Also showed corn hole, and a bbq grill. When we arrived the cornhole was broken and placed on the side of the house, and the bbq grill was covered in spider webs and the lid was broken. I had to kill 4 spiders and found 2 dead roaches. When i went to make breakfast the stove would not ignite and the toaster was also not turning on, upon speaking to the owner he came and fixed the stove and toaster, stated he was about to drop off a new bbq grill (which never happened) but at least i could use the stove. So that was fine. Overall my trip with my family was good, place was comfortable, views were amazing. Just could have been better thats forsure.

Universal and North LA Vacation

This was a great spot right outside LA. It was a quick drive to Universal Studios and Hollywood attractions. It was a nice quieter spot outside the city but still had easy access to groceries, restaurants, etc. House was very modern and comfortable. Owner was very responsive to our needs.
