Yard like a jungle

Eight women guest , Yards unkeep, bugs flying because fruit trees not pruned, nasty, trash and cigarettes butts all over both front and back yard. Couldn't unjoy outside. NO STOVE!!! NO STOVE!!! Main bathroom sink linking water. They send someone Saturday to clean yard but left pals of leaves, dirt and trash in front of house. Didn't finish. Tried contact properly managed Saturday night and again Sunday morning someone hung up on me. Never again! Last but not least, Cats on property which a couple guest are allergic to.

Some hits, some misses

There were five family members staying in this house. On the good side, it was spacious with nice dining room and plenty of bedroom space. The living room furniture was comfortable. The beds were comfortable. There are plenty of dishes and pots and pans and a nice size refrigerator. Unfortunately, there were quite a few problems. There is a leak in one of the sinks in the master bath. There are two full baths; there were no safety mats in either shower. We had hand & bath towels, but no washcloths. The showerhead in the hall bathroom stopped working on the second shower. In this same bathroom, there are no knobs or handles on the drawers and cabinets; they were very hard to open. One bedroom has a freestanding shower in the corner. The walls are not secure, and it wouldn’t take hardly any pressure at all for the glass wall to fall over & cause serious injury. There were not smoke detectors in every room. There were broken and dirty window blinds in all but 1 bedroom. There is a cooktop and a microwave, but no oven. There is a Keurig coffee maker, but if you didn’t come prepared with K cup, then you had to go buy some. No coffee maker that uses a filter/coffee. Per VRBO the contact person was Lily. I attempted to contact her 2 days before our arrival date to ask if we could get an early check-in. There is no way to message Lily through the VRBO app. I called the phone number provided and left a message, but never heard back from her. I had to go back to old emails and find another contact. I asked about early check-in and was told there were back-to-back bookings and they didn’t know what time the property would be ready. When we arrived at the posted check in time of 4 PM, the cleaners were still there. Interestingly, one of them told us that if they had been contacted earlier in the day, they would’ve cleaned that property sooner, which would have allowed us to check in early. Overall, this property lacks attention to detail. I don’t think we would choose to stay here again since there are a lot of other properties in the area and it turned out to be further away from where we wanted to be.

Quiet Neighborhood, just the basics.

The location was central and convenient. The home was spacious and for the most part clean. The kitchen barely had the basics. No oven, no spices/condiments such as salt, pepper, sugar or cooking oil. I'm not sure if that is standard, or we've just been lucky to have those things every other time we've stayed in a rental property.

Best reunion ever!

Rented this house for a 20year reunion with my college girlfriends. 5 of us stayed in the house. There was plenty of space and rooms for us all. The beds were super comfy, neighborhood was very quiet. Love the large dining room and big kitchen. Everybody had a great time.
