The cabin was roomy & comfy. The cabin is on the side of a hill. The parking pad is up a slope in front. Then there are 10 stairs up to the entry & first floor. The interior stairs are
The place is in a great spot if you wanted to go to bear mountain. Backyard is steep but the kids and dog had fun. After a long fun day of snowboarding the jacuzzi was the right touch. Took about 12 min to get to town. It was quite and perfect for the get away.
I would suggest that you have the owner clean the drive way if you don’t have 4 wheel drive. Even with that it was dicey getting up and down the drive way. There was no shovels or anything for us to use that would cut through the ice. Seems like the neighbors had clean driveways for their guests.

Hey John, thanks for staying with us and the review. Sorry sometimes the snow does make it difficult when the ice packs between plowing. We use ice melt but sometimes it doesn’t keep up. I did verify with the house keeper that the shovels are in the guest closet next to the snow sleds. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Nice Vacation Stay - Some Caveats
The cabin was as advertised and my family had a great few nights there. The rooms were very comfortable and the upstairs was spacious for nice nights of relaxation. And the hot tub was perfect. The caveats are that there was no check in procedure ever posted/emailed during the stay. And no cabin welcome/information book to guide us if we had questions. Communication with the manager was minimal - as there was no response to the issue below. When we arrived, the cleaning staff left a huge overload of soaked towels and linens in the dryer which we had to store in the bottom floor bathtub. Not that big a deal but it’s something a guest shouldn’t have to deal with. Another small issue we had was that the upstairs sofa bed was situated next to the open stairwell. A young kid like ours could’ve easily hopped on it and leaned over and fallen 8-10 feet down. What would be a nice addition too would be a coat rack. Sorry to nitpick but thought the owner and future guests would like to know these things in what was an overall great stay.
