Why they chose this property
Whether you're coming for a romantic holiday or a family vacation, this house is a wonderful place with lots of room to relax and enjoy the seaside.
Recently remodeled, this 1500 sq feet home has new furniture and a freshly painted interior. The open-concept kitchen and dining room is fully equipped with dishes, coffee makers (both drip and French press), microwave, toaster, stove, dishwasher, and double sink. All the water is clean and filtered from the well. The dining-room table seats 6 people (and a high chair is also available).
There are two bedrooms with queen-size beds, and both overlook the garden. The main bedroom also includes a work station and an armchair. Additionally, there is a daybed in a lounge area that also has a 55-inch television, an accent chair, a coffee table, and kids' books and toys. Beautiful, exposed beams frame the living room that includes another 55-inch TV, a coffee table, a couch that seats 6, and a winged chair. Both the living room and lounge areas have propane fireplaces that efficiently heat the house.
There are two bathrooms: one with a single sink and one with a double. The one with a single sink includes kid-friendly shower heads and specialty towels for children. The other bathroom includes a washer and dryer and another kid-friendly shower.
The home has two decks that look out into the yard. One leads to an easy-to-use sauna and outdoor bathtub (with hot and cold water). The deck off of the living room seats 7 around a modern, propane fire pit. Guests only need to push a button, grab a glass of wine or sparkling water, and relax after a long day of exploring the raw, enchanting beauty of the Mendocino Coast.
Fenced and private, the backyard is home to apple and plum trees (guests are, of course, welcome to pick fruit when it's in season). Kids' play structures are also available, especially for children between the ages of 0-6.
