No AC

Over-all ok. The property and location were nice. However, the house felt too much like someone's house. Stuff in the closet, kitchen with left over food, junk in the drawers. Not as professional and cleaned up as other places that we have stayed. Worst part was the lack of good AC. It was April and not that hot but the AC did not get the temp below 78. Texas humid, cannot stay in this place in summer. The temp was miserable at night even in these moderate conditions. Cannot recommend with-out a new AC.

We come every November. This is the first time we’ve stayed in a house instead of a bnb. It was a good experience and we hope to come back next year.

We have two short term homes in Salado, one with our daughter. We love the uniqueness of Salado, there is always so much to do. Our permanent home is just South of Dallas in a small town, we live in a Historical Home there. Some of our children and grandchildren live in and around Salado area is what brought us to Salado! We are Salado Eagles Fans! Enjoy your stay and welcome to our home!

We love how the house is set back privately in the trees with tons of deer and other wildlife. Also, the accessibility of the park and creek make for an enjoyable and relaxing stay.
