On the north bank of Salado Creek in the heart of Salado, next to Pace Park, steps or a golf cart ride away from all the activities Salado has to offer - 27 hole golf course, shopping, dining, breweries, wineries, art galleries, concerts, art fair, or just plain sitting with your feet in the creek by the Big Bubbly Spring that puts out cool spring water all year long. Relax in the newly remodeled spaces, sit on the deck or by the firepit, rent The Lodge or The Cabin, or both. Golf cart is included with rental of The Lodge with signed waiver.

Perfect weekend getaway

Our Christmas Stroll stay at The Lodge was nothing short of perfection! The convenience of the golf cart was fantastic, although everything was within walking distance—prime location! The abundance of kid-friendly activities, from games at the house to creek exploration and football in the yard, made it an unforgettable experience. The evenings were magical with s’mores and stories around the campfire—a real treat for our city kids. Carol, our wonderful host, added special and thoughtful touches throughout the home. Her excellent communication as we prepared for our stay was much appreciated. We’re already looking forward to making this an annual tradition for our family.

Reunion of high school friends

Old friends got together to catch up & reminisce. We enjoyed the proximity of this property to the main street and how we could walk to the cute boutiques. The house size was perfect for our little group of 5. Everything was just as it was pictured online.

We have lived in the area for many years and had the opportunity to acquire this property that has an amazing balance of quiet beauty sitting next to Pace Park and at the same time have direct access to all the fun things one can do in Salado.

Why they chose this property

This property is in the heart of Salado. Salado has long been a destination just off the IH35 corridor. The Village of Salado has completed a beautiful sidewalk renovation to include lamp posts that light the evenings as you stroll down Main Street. Many events bring folks to the Village - SirenaFest in October, Gathering of the Scottish Clans in November, Christmas Stroll in December, Art Fair in August. Several venues offer concerts and live music.
