Thank you for your feedback. After a year of hosting and receiving excellent reviews from over 30 guests (multiple platforms), this is the first time we've received negative feedback. We wish you’d shared your concerns sooner so we could have addressed them immediately. Given the tropical climate, particularly during the rainy season, we understand that issues with bugs can arise, which we do our best to mitigate via routine extermination treatments. Our team spends hours ensuring the property is spotless, but their efforts can only last until check-in. Insects are naturally attracted to lights, and during certain times of year, they can accumulate outside windows and doors rapidly. Although bugs are not typically an issue, we’re sorry that they disrupted your stay. We also apologize for any inconvenience caused by the A/C setup. Due to high electricity costs in PR, central air isn’t common, and our property features split-unit a/c in all bedrooms. The home’s open-air design is a unique feature and a key appeal for many guests. This is mentioned in the listing and shown in the photos. Each room features a powerful ceiling fan and windows that open to the island's refreshing cross breeze. The home's layout is designed to maintain a comfortable temperature throughout. While this setup may not suit everyone, we regret that you were not aware of it prior your stay.
