History of the Home This home was built in 1894 and is one of the oldest houses in Sanford. In fact, Sanford is one of the oldest towns in Florida going back to the 1870’s. 212 West 4th is not only one of the oldest homes in Sanford but was also built and lived in by one of the most renowned and famous Sanford residents; W.J. Hill. In fact, he built it for his wife Alice and it stayed in the family until the mid 1920’s. Hill was one of the first merchants in Sanford and operated a Hardware store and lumber yard. The remnants of the lumber yard are directly behind this home (long metal yellow building) and what’s left of the hardware store is on the corner of Oak and 3rd and still bears the Hill Hardware original signage. If you’re interested to learn more about Sanford, the Hill Family or the lineage of who’s lived in this home, plan a visit with us and stay in this historic home!

The place was one the best ive stayed, plenty of restaurants in the area along with a great dog park a coupleof blocks down. Was able to go for walks and enjoy the historic houses and churches near by also with a lake near by to enjoy
Very cute place and very clean! Great location, walking distance to downtown area and yet still felt very safe. The owners are so nice and are always available by phone. Thank you!

My wife loved the way it was decorated and it had a nice courtyard for sitting in. 🤗
The boho apt was right up my alley. Loved the decorating. Loved the proximity to bars restaurants and the water. Had fun biking and looking at all the interesting architecture in the historic district. Would definitely book again! Thank you
I'm currently hotel hopping during a cross-country move. My car broke down and has been in the shop for over a week. It feels like everything is going wrong, and hotels are uncomfortable, offer little privacy, and are ridiculously expensive. Needless to say, I'm stressed. Boho Nights was exactly what I needed. All the comforts of home, close to local attractions and nightlife, and less expensive than a hotel. Eliana and Anthony are great hosts, and the house itself is a beautiful piece of local history.

I loved the style of the apartment. Is a multi unit house, it was a little confusing locating my unit at first. The unit is accessed through the interior patio and if you arrive at night the parking area is not well lit so seeing the gate could be difficult if there's a big truck parked in front of it. Besides the hiccup in finding the unit everything else was perfect, hot water, chilly AC split units, all essentials in the kitchenette, extra blankets and enough towels. Complimentary WIFI and streaming channels.
I had a great stay! walking distance to downtown Sanford. Definitely a gem and I recommend staying here.
We came to the Sanford area for our first ever snow bird season to meet up with others that have been coming to the area for a few years. We drove down with a large truck and trailer that carried our motorcycles. We managed to make parking work but it isn't set up for larger vehicles and trailers. We stayed in 2 different rental units, both were very nicely laid out and decorated.. My personal opinion on these sofa sleepers that's being used in all rental units we've been to are very uncomfortable. if I rent a one bedroom. it's all I need and I would like a comfortable place to sit and relax at the end of a day.
Both units were in walking distance to many bars and restaurants.
