About this property

No Hidden Fees, close to Cal Poly Humboldt, Downtown Arcata, and Local Beaches!

Located perfectly at the end of 11th st in a quiet part of Arcata. Our home is just far enough from town center to benefit from plenty of piece and quiet while still being able to get everywhere you need to go easily. Kids love playing ping pong in the garage, walking down the street on their own to the new playground or to the corner store for ice cream. Jaycie and I love lying in bed with the sliding door open so we can hear the rain fall on the roof of the covered patio We also love that from our door step it's a easy walk or bike ride to the Arcata Plaza, Wildlife Sanctuary, Cal Poly Humboldt, Local Restaurants and the Hammond Trail that now runs all the way north to Clam Beach.
We love the open kitchen, living and dining room floor plan with the surround fireplace located in the middle of it all.
Super comfortable beds, puffy pillows and high thread count sheets for a good nights sleep.
Washer and dryer and free high speed wifi are on site.
While we welcome well behaved pets it is important to note that our back yard is very small. Just big enough for the pups to do their business:-)

Great Location / Great Time
We had a great time at the Arcata house. Very roomy and a great neighborhood that it very close to central Arcata (across from the University). The hosts were very responsive with any questions we had. Highly recommended.

Lovely home in a quiet neighborhood
We really enjoy the McKinleyville area and love to visit with our dog. The house was clean and my dog loved the fenced yard. It was a quiet neighborhood and very close to Clam Beach and Hiller Park. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. We hope to rent this property again. Thanks for a relaxing stay!

About the host

Jason studied Wildlife Biology at Humboldt State University and was lucky enough to be able to find work and remain in the area after college. Jaycie is a registered nurse and fifth generation Humboldt County Resident.
We love how Arcata sits between the ocean and some of the most remote wilderness in the state. Uncrowded beaches with numerous wild and scenic rivers flowing into them. Giant Redwood Trees, bike trails, abundant fresh air/water/food and a great community of people makes Arcata a great place to live or just visit.

Why they chose this property

We love our neighborhood because it is located on the edge of town. It is a quiet place to land and recharge while still being close enough to everything that you don't need your car. We are on the Hammond Trail and have a great park for the little ones and a convenient store just a block away.

What makes this property unique

Our home is clean, well maintained and has everything you need for a great stay. Our number one priority was to make sure the beds are comfortable with top quality sheets and great pillows. A comfortable living room and a well stocked kitchen come in close second. We also made room in the garage for your bikes and made sure we have everything you need to prepare good home cooked meals.
